Interesting is Fanta taste different all over the world. While Coca Cola other beverages keeps the taste fairly the same. As in the Netherlands and Germany is similar, but first time traveling Asia and America the taste was very different.

American brand sodas are always better in other countries, cuz they use REAL FRUIT AND SUGAR. Americans use high fructose corn syrup and fake food coloring. Soda isn't good for you, but it's at least better to use natural ingredients. Your body metabolizes HFCS worse than any other form of sugar, and artificial colors are linked as being carcinogens.

What was very interesting to me when I went to Europe, was that the European Fanta orange is quite different than the one we have in South Africa. Ours is a more vibrant, deep orange while the European one is lighter in colour, less artificial looking. The taste is also different. South African Fanta orange has a concentrated, syrupy citrus taste while the European one tasted less sweet and more subtle in citrus flavour. The whole experience was weird but I have little doubt that if I’d spent more time drinking the European Fanta, that the taste would grow on me eventually...

I can confirm, when I visited my parents' family in asia the fanta I found was very different from the one I usually had in Italy where I live. It has a much deeper orange color to it and it tasted more sugary and artificial. I even started questioning the authenticity of the bottles I found, I initially thought I came across a cheap off-brand scam drink. Honestly ALL brands of soft drinks felt kinda off, they seemed like pure chemical concoctions to me.

if you wonder why Fanta (or any "cola") taste different country to country or canned to bottled it is because they make the beverage with the local water - this can make "canned" drinks taste different from "bottled" drinks - think about it ... example ... canned Fanta made/canned in __?__, GA vs bottled Fanta made/bottled in __?__, GA - same soda but made with different "water supplies" - a Pepsi guy told me this years ago (for the example this is assuming that the cola is canned/bottled in two different cities)

In the Philippines, Fanta was renamed as "Royal Tru Orange." It is because the rights of Fanta brand was bought by a beer brewing company. Because Coca-Cola during World War II, Coca-Cola shutted down because their factories were destroyed during the war. Unlike the beer company, most of their factories survived. That is why the beer company bought the rights of Fanta then, the rights was given to Coca-Cola. Royal Tru Orange name was never renamed back to Fanta because Royal Tru Orange name was already popular in the Philippines.
