"we don't meant to be in space"??? srsly? come one! if humans kept there where "we meant to be", we would - still, today! - be hanging around in trees or roaming around in a savannah or living in a cave! we not meant to live in houses but now we have them anywhere! We not meant to live or work in towers but we builded huge skyscrapers! we not meant to go in to the ocean, butr now the 7 seas are full with ships we not meant to fly! "if humans would be meant to fly, god would have given us wings!" i have heard that absolutly stupid sentence befor, many times, ... and now look into the sky and the airports! humans not meant to go the the deep sea. and now we've done it anyway and came up with submarines! Humans not meant to cultivate the earth and plant crops to produce more food. look at those farms today if you look back in the history of our species, Humans as a species in generell, always came up with soluttions for some difficulties. to grow, to thrive, to learn, to overcome any kind of obstacles. from the point in time where we started to learn to make fire until today! with every obstacle we become stronger, we become better! humans ounce thought, our planet was flat (some stupid ignorant idiots still does), until some brave men were questioning that, all threatening aside, and went on too find out the truth! with that we broke through a barrier, that kept human Civilisation in a bubble! so to speak! after erikson and columbus we learned the earth is not flat, in deed she is more like an slightly squished orange or an apple! humans grow on this achievement! when leonardo davinci in the year 1463 working on his first ideas of a apparatus to fly, people were laughing at him and bullying him, with exactly that sentence! Colonizing space for a ''White'' man like me just seems like the right thing to do. Why stay on Earth when you could maybe terraform Mars or colonize the gas giants' moons to take their ressources? Even better: perhaps find a way to reach the nearest other star?

I mean we are already doing all that there's plans already set for Mars europa asteroid mining everything. Even breakthrough starshot is a mission to send probes to the alpha centauri systems planets
