Tenn played Austin Peay and the game was tied 6-6 with under two mins left in the first half. Tenn scored a Td late to make it 13-6 at half and ended up winning 30-13. Like the other commentor mentioned, 11 players from A Peays 2023 team transferred to UTEP. Nu was up 30-7 at half and used 2nd and 3rd string players in the second half and won 40-7. Keep that in mind when comparing NDSU to Utep.

I know everyone wants to talk about NDSU rushing yards. QB Cam Miller senior running QB 16 rush for 81 yards, Peyton Cole QB 4 rush 5 yards;. RB group (5 Backs) 23 rush for 78 yards. Now if you tell me that Dylan is a running QB like Cam than we can talk, but we all know that he is not. NDSU is a power running team that is what they do and their RB's ran for 78 yards. Design QB draws and scramble plays out of pressure from a running QB is where those yards came from. NEB rushing attack will not be as easy as you think it will.

That’s not true NDSU was getting 3-4 yards at will with their backs. Take Cam Miller away and they were getting 3.6 yards per carry between their two main RB’s then X that by 3 that’s 10.8 yards every 3 downs they run the ball so no CU didn’t stop the run and that was against FCS players not P4 FBS. NDSU didn’t gash CU for any big runs which means CU linebackers and DB’s were in the right spots so that’s good news for CU fans but also those RB’s for NDSU did not look like great athletes if you are just being honest with yourself.

I don't know how good Nebraska is on a national level. They are one of the best teams I have seen this season. They were one the entire game. I believe they attempted 30 passes and 33 running plays. CU will have the two or three best players on the field on the offense, but other than that, Nebraska is a much better team in every other position. Their OL & DL (the DL are going pro in the first 2-3 rounds) will control the trenches. They will try to contain Sanders and he may have a long day, but the dude is a baller. They had 7 (or more) sacks last year and things only got out of hand once a lead RB got hurt and our QB turned the ball over 3-4 times in CUs territory. If Nebraska controls the trenches and doesn't turn the ball over then CU is likely in trouble. If CU can do more than pass the ball and the defense can stop the run then NU may be in trouble. It is a home game for Nebraska as well and that may be a determining factor. I see the Huskers covering, but I wouldn't put money on this game.

CU's top talent will have to pop off to win the game. CU doesn't have a great CB core. You take those two plays away, they were pedestrian. You will see if you think they have just three players. You have no one elite on offense. The quarterback remains to be seen. Nebraskas defense will more than likely stop Colorados run game. Will they shut down Colorados pass game? Very unlikely. Colorados defense will probably stop Nebraskas pass game and struggle with stopping the run. If Nebraska is able to score touchdowns at the red zone rather than field goals, then I think they have a good shot at winning the game. That is what the game will probably boil down to.

Are we really serious right now? Colorado played the run amazing last week 85-90% of that 150 rushing yards Colorado gave up last week was to a running QB. And even with that mobile QB NDSU averaged 3.6 yards per carry. Dylan is not half the running QB NDSU QB was & everyone is putting their faith on a freshman QB that has played a grand total of 1 game, not to mention on a prime time Saturday night game with a sold out game. He's definitely going to have pressure put on him because Colorado is going to score and score a whole lot. NDST had the lead in the their game for most of it. They ran to control the clock. Colorado was behind most of the game. They ran to set up passing plays. The difference between now and last year tho is they didnt get stuffed in the backfield. Also, beforehand the projection was that NDST was supposed to rough up the Scrimmage lines because of all the weaknesses of last years defensive and offensive line troubles. That didnt happen, which means, you're not judging them correctly. Nebraska, played a terrible team. Everything they did shouldve worked with no problems. But, also keep in mind both Colorado and Nebraska's Coaches gave out vanilla gameplans for those games and you cant really judge anything other then the efforts of the players. Colorado played man to man coverage every play because NDST is not a threat to beat them passing. They will probably show alot of zone looks to Raiola, simoly because he is a freshman. Remember, livingston told you we dont have a set defense. We scheme to our strengths and our oppositions weaknesses. So, using what was done last yr and last week is basically wishful thinkin, and probably gonna be the wrong prediction.

First of all lets make something clear. The CU new Oline is great. Now that the first game is out the way, they know what needs to happen and nebraska Dline aint all that. Second, There is NOT STOPPING Shedeur the best most experienced QB in College and the best WR Core in college Football. Sheduer doesnt need a lot of time to pick you apart and the extra time that he needed last year, he has it THIS year. Third. Nobody wants to address this. Nebraska has a HORRIBLE secondary. Its not work notable at all. last year everyone wanted to blame Nebraska QB. Yes he wasnt good but Shedeur completed TORCHED the Nebraska secondary with 400 passing yards easy! And now you give him even more crazy WR's in Jimmy Horn, Travis Hunter, 6''4 Will Sheppard, Lajohntay Wester, Omarion Miller, Drelon Miller and like 5 more. You cant play zone and good luck trying to play man or cover zero on CU Wide receivers. Just like North Dakota, Sheduer had the ball for like 3 mins because they can score so fast. The CU defense especially the run defense was incredible against ND especially the adjustments in the second half. NDSU is a MUCH better tune up game then UTEP so stop that comparison. QB was the leading rusher and those were mostly on broken pass plays. NDSU averaged less than 3 yds per carry on designed run plays where they “lined it up and tried running at CU.” Big difference

The D Coordinator at nebraska did not call a single blitz last week. They still got 2 sacks and multiple TFL. Starters were also done for the day after the first drive of the third quarter - backups still got a sack and an interception
