One point that i would like to point out here is that ACCA is not easy as compared to CA. Please do not fall for this notion. Just because it has a more flexible approach towards examination doesn't mean that the content is easier. It is as difficult as any chartered course could be. Yes the prospects of the course are similar or even more as compared to CA in some cases as India now aims to be a globalised economy which in turn demands an internationally accepted course. But yes it requires dedication and hardwork.

Absolutely agree, there is a notion that ACCA is easier than CA but everyone should try and understand that a passed CA and ACCA do one and same job, if the ACCA qualified students lacked the knowledge compared to that of a CA then no employer would accept them paying the same money and position of that of an Indian CA.

@@neethugeorge1788 yes the syllabus would be the same around 90%... But there is no group system of exam in acca and the pass percentage is little more in acca compared to ca..

CA syllabus is easy. What makes it hard is the passing criteria which requires you to clear a whole group with an aggregate of 50% if this rule didn't exist then I'm sure CA would be as easy as an MBA.

Mba is worth only if u study in iim like top institutions...i completed my pg in commerce and now i am doing cma intermediate and i realized around 70% of mcom syllabus is covered within intermediate level...

One of the main reason for high enrollment is due to exemptions ranging from 4 papers to 9 papers. Now hypothetically assuming the exemptions were not there, the enrollment will come down drastically as there are very few students out of the total students who write all the 13 exams.

One disadvantage of doing ACCA is India is _____ Not getting a HIGHER SALARY than CA of course it's a foreign course ........ but also FEES ARE HIGHER than CA . So I am also totally confused about what I should pursue for my career.... Big advice to all _ Do CA or ACCA after knowing it's pros and cons and very good research on your own ...
