pakistan needs a spinning track.i dont think an australian curator maybe able to produce bouncy track in lahore.Yasir shah should return and hasan ali need to go back to first class. Ali, you are right that you have the right to state your opinion. Now, I will say my piece about a couple of things. Firstly, I don't care what everyone else says about Baber Azam, including the World cricket stars and commentators. I can't ignore what I saw. I noticed, in spite of his reputation as world class batsman, Baber has been exposed even more in this match for his poor performance against the spin bowling. He had offered at least 5 chances (including the half). He did not know what to do with Lyon or Swepson, except padding. He had the energy to stay on the pitch for almost two days but he basically rode on his luck for 196. He was a nervous wreck facing the spin. That was the major reason he missed his double century. The commenters have also agreed with me that he plays from the crease and has almost no footwork. Then he also, at times went into his shell and did tuk tuk tuk for considerable time against the spin. That is the last thing you want to do to give the confidence and rhythm to the bowler. If he could come down to earth and talk to Yousuf right there or go to the High Performance Center or at least watch Rizwan how he plays the spin. Rizwan scored, frustrated and demoralized them. I just stop right here !

Pat Cummins is also a new captain, he did some glaring errors but will learn from it. Sometimes opponents play well and you have to give credit in fact I would say Aus was lucky. A good lower order or batter like Pant or Stokes and a loss was also on the cards for Australia. I will not write off a draw in last test too unless Pakistan is brave enough to prepare a result oriented pitch at Lahore. Prepare a good spin track and play 3 spinners and 2 fast bowlers, give yourself a chance to win and get out of defensive mentality.

Even if Pakistan batted all through which was very unlikely due to the mindset Pakistani batters have that too after getting bundled at 148 they would’ve crashed. Australia gave them time to rethink and reassess their strategy and lapses.. and if even Pakistan got into lead after so much time they had AUSTRALIA still had an innings left where they could’ve won the game while chasing.. so it is a double whammy of a decision which he took. Pakistan was out of his mistakes in first innings expect fwad aalam. Australia felt that this pitch is still flat, then we will get Pakistan in last ining, till then, this pitch will become spin friendly but what did Australia know that there will be no change in it. Still however pitch was, Babar, Abdullah and Rizwan batted very well. Second reason Australia dropped catches.

Hi Ali very true.. Pakistan has won here and will go in the third test with an extra edge.. Aussies should have given follow on and should have gone for the kill.
