I’m ya lucky guy I have my own Shadetree Automotive shop right here in NC. This shop has been in business for over 15 years. The shop will only work on Hondas and Acuras. The shop is owned by a former experienced Honda tech as well as his staff is made up of former Honda and Acura technicians. A year and a half ago I needed to change my timing belt, water pump and fluid as well as have the valves adjusted. A local Honda dealer gave me a quote of $1,500 for the work. When I went to this Honda shop with my 2001 Accord the owner and I spoke for 15 minutes as to what in detail what they were going to do and priced it at $950. They had the Honda 2 days and when I picked it up the charge was $990. This was 33% less than the dealer and the Accord has been purring like a kitten ever since and this was done back in November of 2022. To find a shop like yours here in Charlotte was a stroke of luck. I’n today’s world finding a reputable competent shop is not easy so my hats off to you guys and my go to Honda shop here in Charlotte!
