True, also in the comics back in 2015, he became technorganic. I don't know if he still is, but at that time, his cybernetics could even mimic his original human form completely. He could somewhat shape-shift weapons (which he could already do with his arm canon) so I assume he could add some strength in some form like muscle growth. Growth but in a nanotechnology sort of way.

A lot of people also seem to forget that calibration is a thing. The more you use a part of your body, the more fine tuned your control over that part becomes. A machine connected via a neural interface would need to do this regularly because every time you do maintenance it changes slightly with how it controls and thus needs to be calibrated so you don’t end up feeling like you have two left arms.
@EldenRingplayer4072 ай бұрын
The way I think of it, even though it’s possible to surpass the limits of mechanical muscles, doing so is called “overclocking” and that can cause a risk of tearing/crushing the muscles, which would then need repairs. The same thing happens to organic muscles too, when someone lifts more weight than their muscles are trained to tolerate, and the main difference is the methods of muscular repair. I’m sure Cyborg checked for damage off-camera after defeating Atlas though 😁 Also, as an adult, I now suspect the “100%” limit was made for safety reasons, instead of being the literal “100%” limit
@daddysempaichan2 ай бұрын
@@EldenRingplayer407 That holds true IRL. Just about any load bearing objects like Ladders and Bridges have a "Weight Limit" which isn't the max it can carry, but how much it can carry *WITHIN* safety limits. Going past it will cause certain parts to wear out faster than expected and raise the risk of failure, especially under prolonged use, but you *CAN* go past 100%. Basically, there's a difference between a safety limit and a "True" limit of an object or material.

I love episodes like this, where Cyborg remembers, while he's half machine he'd stil half human. Him being half machine doesn’t make him less human. If anything him being half of both shows how well both halves work in harmony and unison. His machine parts boost him beyond human limits but the boundless potential of his human makes it more amazing when he does break his machine limits, because the human will can't be contained. Cyborg is a lesson on what staying human is like when you lose parts of what makes you human

What makes these old TT episodes so good is that the mental obstacles ARE REAL. Robin's psychosis beatdown vs Slade. Cyborg's AI implants with physical barriers. And two things on top of that: doing it to avoid muscle atrophy, activating the organic muscle he still has even if it’s by stimulating a lot of other muscles that aren’t organic, and for mental reasons. Exercise releases dopamine, it’s why exercise is recommended for mental health maintenance, and it can even help someone feel more in control of their body, which… yeah, with Cyborg’s backstory, it would make sense that it would be something he does for that sense of autonomy and control, as well it just being routine.

When you go into the 2003 teen titans comics, there is a scene that he is making an manitenance in himself and he had to put his organic parts in a special protein solution to mantein them while apart from the machines.
