Bryan Danielson should return to the independent circuit. Some of my favorite matches of his happened during his roh days. Not saying I want him specifically in roh, but I’d love him on the independent circuit for awhile he would have great matches with other talent in other promotions, CMLL and AAA I’d be anxious to see him wrestle for, maybe he’ll pick up new techniques and skills from luchadors that he’d bring to the states and njpw, maybe even stop by AEW and Impact but return home to roh as well. The possibilities are honestly endless for him rn

Actually, I think it will benefit his legacy in the "Wrestling Business" if he does decide to sign with a NJPW or CMLL...because not a lot of fans don't really remember his work out side of WWE other then ROH. Look at how it benefitted AJ Styles when he had his World Tour of Wrestling after he left TNA. I think at that time we all considered AJ Styles as 1 greatest wrestler in the world at that time, cementing his legacy and helped him get into WWE without having to go to NXT. But for Daniel Bryan or I should I say Bryan Danielson it would give us a opportunity to see him wrestle some incredible new names outside of the WWE roster for companies such as CMLL, NJPW or AEW.

If there is anyone that could go and do a match in AEW, then NJPW, then ROH, then NWA without signing any contracts with said promotions, it's Brian Danielson. I saw his comments in a recent interview and he made it clear he wanted to slow down and not wrestle as much. He's almost 40 with a family. He was injured a bit in a match and couldn't play with his kid the way he wanted. He could be: A: retiring B: doing this free agent thing but I doubt it C: going somewhere else - like you say he's invaluable to any promotion D: Using the threat of going elsewhere to squeeze extra zeroes out at the end of his salary and probably a million things I'm not thinking of. Whatever he does, he's so talented he will be fine. Just like they do with everyone...they had no idea how to best use him anyway.

I mean, honestly, the guys in AEW get the freedom to work other places all the time. He basically gets to do exactly what he said he wanted to do and AEW would just throw piles of money on him to do it. Seems like a win-win for him, and everybody if he goes there. And it makes my personal wishes come true (and it's not even Christmas). He'd get to work basically everywhere but WWE, which is fine, because WWE has never known what they've had with him since day 1. It might be a pretty sick storyline if Bryan Danielson started chasing Kenny Omega around the world, trying to take his belts in the different promotions that he currently has them one at a time, with the last confrontation being in AEW, but then Hangman Adam Page takes the AEW title before Bryan gets the chance to take it, having Hangman go all George Foreman on Kenny's Joe Fraizer. I realize now that in this metaphor that makes Bryan Danielson Muhammad Ali, which totally works, but at the same time George Foreman was totally a monster heel in the 70s, and Hangman can't be more babyface, so it's not perfect... The icing on the cake would be if Tony Khan paid for the rights to The Final Countdown for his entrance theme...........Now this is wishful thinking even by "Bryan Danielson going to AEW" dreams go.......but boy howdy....that pop would make Daily's Place explode....

The obvious answer is people want to see Daniel Bryan at AEW and NJPW at the very least: Daniel Bryan at Wrestle Kingdom, the G1 Climax, Revolution, All Out would be a huge joy not to mention the AAA stars do make appearances at AEW so that dream can happen without him as an Independent. Though I'm surprised that AEW and NJPW dont do big events together more most of AEW stars were with NJPW at one point afterall. Bring back the WCW/AJPW special event as AEW/NJPW

With his contract ending the way it did last Friday I’m assuming he’s still in the good books with WWE. If he’s leaving then imagine him showing up on a show like AEW or New Japan, still technically in the main event, and causing waves. Then imagine if he goes back to WWE in the off chance Reigns is still working the main event, he could come in and easily legitimize any rivals that could be gunning for that top spot!
