Yeah that golden ball thing was so stupid. It didn't even add anything to the game, nobody even tried to go for it because they were more interested in winning the match. Maybe it would have been worth the risk if it was a longer format.

@@EgoChip what I can't understand why would a nation that's a zero alcohol policy want to take what is essentially English on a piss up, I personally believe them people won't be happy until they have total control of everything and the greed of the hearns they will only see the gain and not the bigger picture. Like darts aimt expensive enough with out having g to jump on a plane to the middle of a desert.

Saudi Arabia has nothing to do with darts. It's not a part of their culture. It is very much a part of ours, and we should keep it in countries where it is. Maybe it could go to places like The Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, the US, and other nations where darts has a history. But keep it out of the hands of those nasty oil men.

I have no issue if the Worlds were held at different countries with genuine darting interest, such as Germany, Netherlands, Ireland, US/Canada, South Africa or somewhere in Asia given the huge, global growth in Darts over the past few years It wouldn't be wise to hold a WC in Saudi for me...

It wont work. Bahrain is poor on the World Series, and Dubai was also a fail years ago. It might have money but it doesn't have the atmosphere nor the alcohol! Not their culture, just like the snooker, a complete waste of time.

I agree with you, hosting darts majors in Saudi Arabia would be one of darts’ biggest disasters, and besides, Ally Pally is such an iconic venue and if the PDC Worlds were to ever move away from this iconic venue, everyone would be beyond devestated

Will put plenty of money into the players pockets and into the pdc itself BUT at the cost of atmosphere and real darts fans getting to attend ….. I’d like to see the majors shared around the European country’s tbf , keep the worlds at ally pally and share the other majors around England , Scotland , wales , Ireland , Germany , Holland 🤷🏽‍♂️ give saudi their own tournament , king of the kingdom and maybe let the players who aren’t involved in the premier fight it out instead

Pure greed! If they go down this route I'm finished with the PDC. By the way I had a great weekend before last.watching the County darts in Hull, Humberside vs Hampshire nice friendly people and not paying a fortune for a pint! ( Not from Humberside or Hampshire, Just a few County Durham Lads in Hull for the weekend) Another working class pastime they are trying to corrupt!

It's just a matter of time before darts is in Saudi. Not sure how well it will take there, the snooker was a bit of a disaster in terms of attendance, but if it brings more money to darts it could only be good for the players as well as the PDC. Great video keep up the good work👍🏼🎯

The greed of the Hearns looking at taking the world championship of darts to Saudi, unbelievable, the fans will miss out again as with both snooker and boxing. Its all about the money then the fans that support the sport, plus where are the saudi darts and snooker players, no where and there won't be any, so just another sport possibly moving for money.
