This is just simply a wonderful interview! So happy to hear Cros is on a better financial footing. His songs are beautiful and unique enough I don’t think they will be ruined by more exposure.

As playing guitar becomes physically more difficult for David Crosby it makes complete sense that he develop his agony uncle role with Rolling Stone. Ask Cros is very good viewing and I love that he manages to get each installment into about the length of a regular song. But more than anything, despite his insistence that he should be the last person on earth you should ever go to for advice, I find his advice is always excellent. And often very funny!

hey Howard..watching you in China man...liked it when he said 'as always..' about you. I heard a man ask a top star once how it did it...how does he stay on top? He said 'it's the song". With you, its the question.

Even Cros has admitted he was the only member of CSN that didn't have a hit. But damn I love his stuff with C P R.

Until you’ve made 10,000 missed shots I won’t let you take any for me. Mistakes are not a mistake - they are required steps onto the best path. Only the best of the best know this. Those that avoid mistakes avoid success. Michael Jordan said he made a ton of missed shots to make more points than anyone else. Despite David’s one time “junkie” status - he has a successful life.
