I am going to help the people I got here, and we are going to expand it further.” 12/6/2023: Kevin McCarthy is resigning from Congress and will leave at the end of this year, he announced in a Wall Street Journal op-ed on Wednesday. McCarthy was ousted because he did not keep to his word after being elected speaker. As you can see above, the man couldn't keep his word up to the very end. So don't kid yourself in believing he would have done anything different from Mike Johnson. Oh, MJ did release the J6 video when he became speaker after McCarthy promised and never followed through. So I guess MJ was a minor improvement.
