In the memory room, Camilla was looking at specifically the Grom fight photo where Grom turned into a version of Camilla. I think that was subtle foreshadowing of Camilla and Luz’s conversation when the egg hatches. Camilla sees herself in a monstrous form with Luz looking frightened, and she probably connected the dots of Luz being scared of her in some way, which prompts her further into apologizing about trying to change Luz

The thing i noticed is that Luz's Azura hat has a crown on it, which is similar shaped to the castle that in above the titan skull, aka a dead body. There's also the "foreshadowing" we saw in Thanks To Them, when Hunter and Luz walk up the stairs, Hunter's shadow has horns and Luz's shadow looks like she's stabbed. With these 2 informations, i am now very scared for the last episode and i hope that even if Luz dies, it'll be something similar to what happened to Anne in Amphibia. That being said, the little creature Luz saw in the in-between realm at the behinjng of For the Future might actually play a role in this.

One of my favourite details of the scene with Belos and Caleb, is that when Belos says "i tried to save your soul" the camera focuses specifically on the dagger above Caleb's head. Philip never saved his brother's soul, he just killed his brother and He Knows It. Belos and Caleb are some of my favourite characters ever.

I think that maybe there's also the fact that Raine is pretty much completely unconscious while in puppet form. After Belos possessed Hunter, Hunter was able to actually fight back, seemingly enough for Belos to straight up get ejected out of his body. Maybe Belos realized that, since Raine is literally a puppet right now, he doesn't have to worry about them fighting back, which might be another reason why he went for them instead of Odalia.

Palisman magic is able to heal - as seen with Hunter and Flapjack - and we can only assume that Belos consumed so much Palisman in order to stay alive longer and keep his “curse” at bay. The enormous amount of Palisman he consumed ended up consuming his body in King’s Tide, and now that’s his permanent form.

Considering they’ve been turned into a puppet, I’m not sure if Belos is eating up Raine on the inside like the earth animals and possibly hunter a little bit(because maybe those new scars were just from physical traumatization? Maybe Belos wasn’t eating hunter inside out, but his possession was just physically traumatizing?) Although, I do find it mildly strange how they still have the same voice, as opposed to just Belos’s voice. Because again, they were turned into a puppet and can only be controlled by the collector. Which reminds me, whoever Raine’s voice actor is, they are NAILING mimicking Belos’s vocal tone or whatever. You can really hear it at the end when they say “what will you do? Collector.”

I can't help but think that by the end of the series King will undergo a growth spurt and actually wear the castle crown. Rain is the perfect choice for Bellos. Possessing their body provides Bellos with a natural shield against Eda and company. So long as he has someone to redirect the collector's anger at, Bellos can bide his time till he can attempt to possess the collector.

This is a really interesting thought! Something some folks on twitter noticed that I thought was interesting was at the start of the episode when Lilith goes to try to rescue King from The Collector, she says to "get away from her nephew!" As soon as she says this, The Collector gets defensive. This could just be the kid being possessive but The Collector's also spent a very long time around Belos, and that means The Collector has seen a whole lot of what Belos does to his "nephews". When I saw the episode, I thought that Belos picked Raine because he wanted a host that wouldn't resist him or try to get him out. His first humanoid one, hunter, almost got the both of them killed and the titan blood lost for the foreseeable future. This would also explain why we're only shown Belos possessing animals, and not humans, beforehand. He could have realized sentient (and concious) hosts could fight him off and picked one he could more easily control.

It makes sense from a pragmatic standpoint. Belos knows that he'll have to face the group again, and Amity's hated mother would be beaten without hesitation, but Eda's beloved romantic partner would be someone that the heroes wouldn't want to get hurt or killed in the crossfire.

Thing you may have missed: I spotted a small detail in the scene where Odalia is dragging puppets around, when she sees the coven heads and gets the idea to use them for labor - among all the pictures on the walls, there's _one_ that's torn up and partially destroyed. I assume this was done by The Collector, who didn't like what it depicts, as it seems to be the start of eradication of the Titans, who he just wants to be friends with.

Seeing as the Titans had a magic written language capable of concealment, preventing them from being detected by Collectors specifically...It could be easily explained why TC never realized there was a Titan in there with him all that time.

The fact that Eda has a deep personal connection with Raine is just a bonus for Belos, but throughout the entire episode we see how desperate Belos was for a new body, he’s literally falling apart, he doesn’t have the luxury of being picky, so he took the first opportunity he saw.

Picking a puppet immediately flagged the Collector's suspicion anyway, so Odalia would have actually been a better choice on the surface, she was even willing to have it happen lol. Belos definitely picked Raine for a reason. And like a lot of people have said, Eda and the crew's personal collection to Raine would be a bonus for Belos in the final conflict. From a writing standpoint, Raine is also a character the fans love and who is more important as a side character than Odalia and a lot of other non-mains, so they probably also wanted them to be directly involved in the final showdown in a more active way.

The way Belos always has countermeasures in order to ruin the lives of Evelyn's descendants kinda reminds me of Master Xehanort - always having a plan for every possible situation. If the people are still alive while in puppet form (Hooty was a great example of this), maybe the only solution to save everyone is by bonds of love/family - I can see that happening with: - Eda freeing Raine - Hunter freeing Darius - Gus, Willow and Amity freeing their parents - Luz freeing Camila (I have a feeling this will happen in the finale)

Im sure someone else has figured this out but... what if the reason caleb looks malnurished is because phillip kidnapped him and used the ilses limited food to try and manipulate caleb to return to the human realm. Of course it wouldnt work so phillips plan B was to kill caleb sense, in phillips mind, he was too far currupted by Evelyn.

I have a theory about collectors. So, as we know, owl beast was sealed into a scroll but our collector hasn't done anything like that, in fact, he turned everyone into puppets, and childish looking ones at that. Perhaps, the way or method of sealing depends on collector as well and maybe even, technique it self or form which something is sealed in depends on how mature collector is. I believe there is many different types of how to seal something to preserve them, so maybe, something that we have already seen might be a form, which someone or something has been sealed into and later released by our collector. Tho, I'm wondering wether a collector can release something sealed or transformed by a different collector. This has been just a fun though tho.

Y’know a little theory I have is, I think each of the collectors have their own way of cataloging things. Starkid collector (our collector), turns things into puppets. Like putting them in a toybin. The collector that cursed the owl beast, turns things into scrolls. Maybe this is why starkid calls it an archive, since the presumably older ones have more mature ways of going about this. Or maybe they truly do have any power they wish. But in this case they might just have their own preferred method. Who knows?

Maybe owlbert can save Raine like flapjack did, because we haven't seen him the whole time so there's probably gonna be some sort of reveal around owlbert and since palasmans and their owners r connected owlbert probably loves Raine as much as eda, and would do anything for them. But it’s actually the fact that thank goodness Kikimora showed up right when Luz was about to tell Amity her plan to stay in the Human Realm, because if she didn’t, well, you know how that would’ve turned out.

I didn't think about it before, but a lot of his action do seem to be a kind of centuries long grudge against the Cawthorn family. Lilith herself admits at one point that she was not very good at her job. Which kind of make sense while she is very intelligent, she was never really much of a leader, and her loyalty to Belos came just from his promise to cure Eda, which he never had an intention of doing. When you compare her to master manipulators like Terra Snapdragon, or blindly loyal fallower like Kikimora, you kind of wonder we she was put in charge. Also why is she the one he keeps sending after Eda, besides having have failed a bunch of time, he's got to realize that theirs a part of her that's reluctant for a violent confrontation with her sister. Not to mention he seems kind of lenient with her failure, especially when you consider his reactions to Kiki's and Hunters. It kind of makes it look like his main reason for putting Lilith in charge of the emperor's coven (though even then she seemed kind subordinate to Kiki, and if later actions are anything to go by Terra was his closer to his de facto second in command), and sent her after Eda, was just to screw with them both. But probably especially Eda, as we see that she both looks more like, and probably has a similar personality to Evelyn. Also does clear up that contradiction of Belos not being able to dispose of Rain, because he doesn't have replacement for the coven heads, but then having back up for all of them. At first a saw this a somewhat typical attempt to cover up a plot hole, but it really does fit in with the context of being a larger revenge by proxy against Evelyn.

So the Collector that turned the owl beast into a scroll was actually preserving it as part of it's mission. I wonder if the curse aspect was part of the Collector's plan or just an unintended consequence. I think the owl beast itself is going to have a bigger role in the resolution of the story. And the fact that when Eda & the beast finally got together we saw a red thread connecting the two. In legends, the invisible red thread is often said to connect people who are destined to meet or lovers, which makes me believe that the beast may be somehow also tied (no pun) to Raine in some way.

I like this theory, and it seems plausible and might be part of it, but to me, it seems likely he needs a strong witch/body to take over, and that he likely would have picked any of the coven leaders if they were there instead of Raine, and would have skipped Odalia no matter what

I think that the reason that Belos just choose the first puppet that he saw activated(maybe the deactivated ones were too hard to possess)/ the first coven head that he found. Rain was the only active coven head in the entrance area because Odilia was using them to move the other puppets(deactivated). Also Raine was the first puppet that Belos saw and similar to the grim walker where he jumped into the only empty body he could of been desperate.

The book the collector has king read is actually written by the other collectors. edit: also, haven't you noticed that when Belos possessed puppet Raine, he was able to speak in her voice and not his voice, so the collector wouldn't recognise him and kick his ass again.

One thing I'd like to mention is the fact that Raine is in a puppet body so and King read out from the Collector's stone tablet book that they seal team (meaning different/various species and creatures) so that never fade. So, I think as long as Raine is not turned back into a witch (I almost wrote human, anyways) while Belos is possessing them, their physical body isn't gonna take much damage, if any unlike Hunter. Who got way more new scar's all over his body. Well, this my theory and I really don't want to see Raine with scar's all over their body. So, I hope that's what is gonna happen. And yeah what do you guys think?!!

I think he picked Raine more for plot purposes. What with Hooty managing to communicate with Lilith, showing the puppets are still conscious in there, I think it’s more that, especially with their history of resisting mind control, Raine will fight back against Belos, probably at a critical moment. Will there be magical healing tears? Will there be true love’s kiss? Both options were foreshadowed by Lilith’s tears seemingly ‘awakening’ Hooty (probably a red herring though) and the repeated references to a true loves kiss between Luz and Hunter that may finally pay off between Eda and Raine. Even better if Raine had been communicating with Eda like Hooty managed to, given how unsurprised she was when Hooty spoke.

I know someone probably already said this but I and many others found the scene where Boscha was pleading for Amity to join her again felt almost eerily similar to Jasper pleading Lapis to fuse with her again in Steve universe and there so many other moments in this episode that reminded of a ton of other cartoons this one is probably a stretch but when Amity and the gang first arrived back on the boiling isles and she picked up that puddle of abomination slime reminded me some of water from the ATLA and LOK universe maybe Dana and the team took some inspirations from them as fans of those shows as well as many other shows
