Imagine how this sport would be if the stewerts didn't just stop answering the phone when tom cruise and Hollywood were ready to film the life of bubba stewert. That family would be huge and the sport would have grown a ton with a dirtbike movie from Hollywood.

isnt Tom Cruz involved in scientology, and hollywood in general is rough, would have been huge for the sport but i think marketing lioe what Dungey did with the cereal, and KZbin with the Deegans is also helping a lot. That and incorporating it more into schools, even if you can't ride there, just having a team and recognition and learning about it.

Years ago, i went to Washougal for the Nationals(well, i live in Washougal) a friend of mine worked at the track and got me a pit pass. When i was walking through the pits, a chubby little kid asked me would i like to buy a helmet worn by James Stewart? I said, "Hell yeah!" He said, "Wait here, and ill go get it." Moments later, he emerged with the helmet, but before our transaction could be completed, a large black man screamed, "Malcolm, get your butt back over here!"
