In that one scene in this episode, I swear that Finn was acting jealous of PB’s suitor, which is pointless because of how Finn was dating his better love interest Flame Princess at the time and how PB didn’t deserve to be Finn’s love interest because of how she heartlessly turned down his love for him, has a strong disbelief in Finn’s favorite thing Magic, the scissor face cut incident in The Lich(accident or not, it was still a bad thing she did to Finn), and how she poorly handles her retarded Candy citizens.

While I get PB not needing to reciprocate love to men since she’s a lesbian, she also didn’t need to be such a massive jerk. And the writers are really dumb for leaning into the stereotype that lesbians are abusive, mentally ill, violent psychopaths. Normally I wouldn’t have a problem with stereotypical characters since they can be fun in their own right, but the people that wrote it are ironically the type of people who look at stereotypes and recoil while typing a whole Twitter/X post on how *EVIL* stereotypes are. Like Rebecca Sugar who went on and on about how everyone’s a bigot but then made characters of racist Black and Hispanic caricatures in her art book.

Goliad was voiced by a child who does do a better job of adding emotion to her character than Hynden Walch does with Princess Bubblegum. Even based on the way PB sounds, it sounds like Walch doesn’t feel comfortable voicing this character.
