elijah ran from spiritual/emotional/physical exhaustion. when jezebel threatened him he had no more resource to stand up against the stress of conflict.

Yes! It shows us that even the very elect of God can experience spiritual, emotional and physical exhaustion. The point being, though Elijah prayed and shut up the heavens where it did not rain 3 years, and then prayed that it rain, he himself was a man like us. This in essence tells us that we can have faith like Elijah who had no special qualities other than having faith in God. Amen!

KJV doesn’t say Elijah (My God is Jah) was afraid, it says he went for his life. A day’s journey away in the opposite direction to assure that Jezebel’s words as a prophetess would ensnare her and assure her death. He then HUMBLED HIMSELF, cast his pride down, unlike Jonah. Like Job. He transformed his pride/leviathan/beast and Jehu (He is Jah) cast Jezebel down. Do likewise, as in Rev 17-18.

Hazael, Jehu and Elisha were God's instruments in dealing with Israel. Hazael is the enemy king of Aram who will conquer and humiliate Israel. Jehu once anointed as king of Israel will annihilate Ahab's descendants and put Jezebel to death while Elisha will be the prophet who will take Elijah's place and continue to warn the people of Israel to return back to God or else suffer the punishment for their sins.

Yes. We as men...may lose sight of the Lord, when faced with fear. But is it really a lack of faith? What about those of us...who realize we are indeed sinners, and that God has the power to kill us? I should think if I were in Elijah's shoes...I wouldn't necessarily lose my faith in God...as so much faith in myself and my own sins, that God may very well allow me to be killed by Jezebel. I would feel as if the Lord would not protect me, (and rightfully so), because of my horrible sins. Is that not a valid reason to fear Jezebel? Which in reality...it is not that Elijah necessarily feared Jezebel...but the Lord Himself, knowing himself, he, (Elijah), was a sinner and deserved to die. Just a thought certainly do not claim to know the answers. Just my thinking.. tells me to fear God because of my sins.

All they want to do is kill the prophets...I would run to the hills to...but with faith God gives us a true courage in not to worry about what other people think of us but what God thinks of you...hence the line of David through to Jesus...go figure dear brother or sister.

There is a jezebel type in my life now.I pray to Yahweh to protect me from her evil actions tru Yashua r Jesus God's son.I am only human and a sinner.She is beautiful 😍 but a bad disiver,in the end she need to be watchful of dogs 🐕

It was a good background check , but the reason Elijah ran was coupled with his humanity but it went beyond his weakness as a person. Ahab was the Physical authority but Jezebel was the spiritual authority . She was the one who ruled over Ahab. Once you understand bloodlines , genealogy and the Phoenicians the picture is clearer. Jezebel was part Anunnaki , who were the Watchers. The watchers are the fallen ones, they created the Nephilim , fierce warriors of the land. The god of this world is Satan , Luciferian rule . These entities were known by Elijah , he knew it wasn’t just an alter of worship , but a evil entity that roamed the planet . Yes Elijah was afraid, yes he ran, yes he hid... but it was because he knew it wasn’t a woman chasing him, it was the god of this world. Only Jesus was able to stand against this force, it’s why we can now. It’s not as easy as it sounds , without Christ it’s impossible

However, as I always tell people, God's Word is like a swimming pool, you have the shallow end and you have the deep end. All are in the water, but some want to go to the deep end of the water, while others only want to wade in waist deep. You obviously like going to the deep end. I do understand genealogy, and I am aware of Jezebel being part of the Anunnaki, and fully aware that it was the spiritual force behind her intent, as it tells us in Rev. 2:20 "Nevertheless I have a few things against you, because you allow that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess, to teach and seduce My servants to commit sexual immorality and eat things sacrificed to idols. " Though I am aware of these factors, I don't fully recognize the non-canonical book of Enoch, which you quote from. That doesn't mean that I don't take some of it as authority, but I am one who believes that God doesn't not make mistakes, mishaps or slip ups. Meaning, if God wanted the Book of Enoch canonized, it would have been canonized. Now, I know that the Book of Enoch is referenced in the Holy Bible, as with, the Book of Wars of the Lord and Book of Jasher, etc. Check out my series on Angels & Demons. But, my brother. Adam walked with God in the cool of the day and with Enoch. It’s also worthy to note that the African canon included the books of Enoch. Jesus , quoted Enoch plus a plethora of other connections . In 325 ad The council of Nicea was established by a decree from Constantine. He empowered Augustine and Ignatius to create the canon and fuel the union between state - Rome and Christianity . I’ll leave it there for now. If Enoch was that intimate that connected to I Am the creator of all all . How is it his writings are too whimsical ? It’s because they aren’t, they are the secret to understanding evil forces. The books were hidden on purpose. Jesus is asked a difficult question by his 12 followers. When will the end time be , Jesus replied “ As in the days of NoAh”. What is so evil about eating snd drinking and getting married ? Nothing, it was about the culture that it existed it, it was about this ~ ~ cannibalism ~ drinking of blood - adrenochrome ~ baby and human sacrifices ~ spells , rituals and worship to the god of this world ~ genetic mutation of human DNA ~ to call evil good and good evil ~ the elimination of Gods people Eugenics Enoch was a Power House ... he would make Augustine quake in his shadow.

@@AncientWellness3 Don't misunderstand Bryon, I don't disagree with you. I'm fully aware of the Nicean Council (creed), Josephus, Constatine, etc. I'm simply stating, that there is a reason these books are not canonized. I also am aware that Enoch was a typology of Jesus, himself having been taken up without tasting physical death, but that's another subject. I am fully aware that Elohim ("Powers") did grant Enoch a special view into the "true/real" spiritual realm, and I do believe Enoch spoke with "bene elohim" or "sons of God"= angels". However, the sensationalism for most people overshadows the simplicity that is in Jesus Christ "Yehsua Hamaschiac", and Him crucified as atonement for our sins and invitation to salvation. We do wrestle with these spiritual forces around us daily. But, to know the Lord, is to know you have overcome them, not focus on them. Our channel is to equip believers with practical application of the Word of God in order for them to grow in a personal relationship with the Father, and the Son by and through the Holy Spirit.
