As a dark skin woman like you, I too get scared of highlighters. The only highlighters I use are the RareBeauty liquid highlighter (it looks SO natural) & the ONLY powder highlighter I love is the Coloured Raine Glowlighter in the color Just Peachy (Ugggg!!! It is SO bomb!). I love your tips on how to apply powder highlighter on dark skin to make it look more natural! Thank you! And as always, you look GORGEOUS!!! 💯❤️

I’m a pale-skinned person who stumbled across your channel one late night in my recommendations. I like makeup-trying videos so that’s probably why. I wasn’t expecting to relate too much to your content because of our skintone differences (for the makeup coloration), but I’m really glad I found your channel. I watched a Pat McGrath tutorial on Sephora’s channel yesterday I think and she highlighted the models Cupid’s bow! Just the little dip at the top of the upper lip and I’m Obsessed with highlighters again! I have played with powder highlighters, liquid highlighter. In the shade Bronze, Gold, Champagne, Rose Gold. And I can see using all the shades depending on what the rest of my makeup looks like. I think these new highlighters from Fenty will give a subtle highlight to my Cupid’s bow and I’m here for it! I think the Pecan Swirl is the one I’m getting. But it’s highly probable that I will end up with both!💜

When I use to do makeup I worked with a lot of deeper skin clients and I never liked the ‘traditional’ highlighters no matter the shade. They always came off as too unnatural and beaming. I like to use a balm or a liquid with no pigment so the cheeks give of a dewy finish rather then metallic textured finish.
