I don't think many people are going to accept this answer, it will not convince the unbelievers. It only serves to make God seem unjust. Here is my own explanation: Esau was the type of person who would trade his entire inheritence for a bowl of soup. He had no love for God, or his plans concerning their offspring. This is reminiscent of a man, who would trade all he can have in heaven, for temporary wealth here on earth. That the here and now, he loves more than the future. This is not the kind of man who God desires to lead his long term plans of a particular group of people. He hated him because Esau cared more for what he can gain from our physical world than what God could have planned for him

This is true because it actually says in the New Testament that we shouldn't be wicked like Esau who sold his descendants wellbeing for a bowl of soup. It was a very wicked thing to do because look now the Edomites became enemies of God because of Esau

Short answer: God does what He pleases, and is always just, and good. No matter how badly we want to say election is unjust, it isn’t and makes perfect sense in the mind of God, we must trust in Him because His ways are higher than our ways.

But why did God reject Esau? Wasn't it Jacob who swindled Esau out of his inheritance? Didn't their mother trick Isaac, while on his deathbed, into blessing Jacob instead of Esau by disguising Jacob as Esau? I'm still studying this, but it seems like Esau really got crapped on, which is disheartening because that would mean God does not love everyone.

I'm guessing it was all God's plan, as Jacob, the more devout of the two, was the one more worthy of the inheritance, as even Isaac nonchalantly acknowledged, after all was said and done, that it must've been God's will, as he witnessed Jacob deceptively obtain the blessing from Isaac, and did not intervene.

The reason God favored Jacob over Esau, even though Jacob was deceitful to gain Esau's inheritance, is because the inheritance was the covenant God had made with Abraham. Jacob honored the covenant, but Esau did not. Esau was willing to trade the covenant for a bowl of food. Jacob was willing to do anything to keep the covenant and so if God had let such a man as Esau throw it away, God would have broken his word with Abraham.

If esau marks the end of the world he parallels satan while Jacob parallels Jesus the Christ. This passage has to do with Jacob being preeminent over Esau in terms of service. “The elder shall serve the younger.” It doesn’t mean God actually hated Esau. It was a cultural and Hebrew idiom speaking of preeminence. Romans 9 is not about God loving only select people and only saving them and condemning the rest of mankind before they were born. That’s an entirely misinterpretation of Romans 9. Jesus used the idiom in the same way. He said unless you hate your parents you cannot be my disciples. Obviously he didn’t mean to hate your parents. What He meant was that He must be preeminent; even over our own parents.

God hated Esau not because He hated the person but his attitude and character there’s nothing left inside Esau, he’s will was far from God. He is the biblical example of Carnality (not only chasing after worldly things) but biblically means: choosing something that is temporary over something that is eternal… The context spoke about the culture and their values, 👉 Genesis 25:29-34 Exchanging birthright, he was taking granted of that birthright - At the time Birthright represent inheritance and salvation, In our time now Birthright is the Holy-Spirit and Salvation & it very serious before God.

How could God hate Esau for his attitude when the Book of Romans makes it clear that before Esau had even been born or had done anything wrong, God had already hated him as the following passage shows: [Romans 9:11-13 Yet, before the twins were born or had done anything good or bad-in order that God’s purpose in election might stand: not by works but by him who calls-she was told, “The older will serve the younger.” Just as it is written: “Jacob I loved, but Esau I hated.”] It's all about God’s grand plan for the salvation of the human race. God is a master strategist, planning end time events from the very beginning.

I can't say it makes sense to me but then I'm not exactly Albert Einstein, either. What I can say is that I have (REGRETTABLY!) greatly sinned during my time in this world, and while The Lord has for sure been brutal at times when I deserved it, He has also been AMAZINGLY merciful towards me as well!!! So, the bottom-line is that Jesus is the absolute *Gold Standard* for all things good. Thus, one can rightfully assume that He for sure does everything with goodness and fairness, even if sometimes it can be a little hard to understand from our human perspective. (When we meet him on the other side, I strongly suspect He'll make things clear for us with no problem the answers to our questions.)🙂💛🧡💖💝

The same indignation Esau had towards Jacob is the same indignation the most high holds against Esau...... Esau's descendants had a perpetual hatred.... When coming out of Egypt, Esau denied the Israelites passage through their land and met them with violence.... The amalekites....who is Also the descendants of Esau waged war against them crossing Jordan.... Thats strike 2..... The last and final straw for Esau/Edom was assisting king Nebuchadnezzar in the destruction of Jerusalem in 580bc..... Esau stole many of the treasures from temples and any fleeing Israelite they captured and turned over to the Babylonians...... Esau showed he could not forgive therefore the father has an everlasting indignation towards them..... Esau's descendants are today's Caucasians..... According to Esau's blessings, he'd dwell in the best places on earth and would obtain them through war...... The racism that exists in America has nothing to do with skin color, the negros of America are the lost tribes of Israel while the Caucasian race comes from Esau...... That same unreasonable hatred still lives his descendants hearts....... Pay attention to the prophecy and blessings of Esau and you can easily spot him...... Whatever people/culture they've encountered throughout history, they've assumed their identity..... Removing their guilt trying to hide amongst other nations....... Before you respond to my comment, note that are other Caucasians who have confessed to the negroes of America to be the lost tribe of Judah..... And the very reasoning for enslaving Judah was apart of their punishment for disobedience against God...... The catch 22 is, our enslavers would be that of Esau...... So again the racism in America isn't about skin color but an ancient siblings rivalry that's still happening today.

Yes, it seems that way but we are taught not to form judgements based on what we see - have faith ( which is our confidence and hope) that God is good. Therefore, His ways, that are higher than ours, is also good even if we don't currently understand. At the end of Genesis 26 we see this: "When Esau was forty years old, he took Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite to be his wife, and Basemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite, and they made life bitter for Isaac and Rebekah". Maybe we can say that because of Esau's wicked ways, especially towards his parents who he should have honored, God was making a way to bring justice towards Esau by changing his destiny for the good of Issac and future Israelites. But who knows.... I trust God.

We must also remember Luke 14:26, "“If anyone comes to Me and does not hate his father and mother, wife and children, brothers and sisters, yes, and his own life also, he cannot be My disciple." Jesus isn't talking about hatred that leads to murder which He Himself condemns (Mathew 5:21-22, see also 1 John 3:15) but it is the kind of hatred to be thought less than or for not giving a lot of attention or thought to something or someone else compared to another. For example in Deuteronomy 21:15 speaks "If a man has two wives, one loved and the other unloved, and they have borne him children, both the loved and the unloved, and if the firstborn son is of her who is unloved," and also Jacob loving Rachel but "hating" Leah. In conclusion, this is the "kind" of hatred God doesn't condemn. It is just.

Romans nine is all about salvation, and he’s using how he loves Jacob and hated Esau. And yes, he chose one man to bring about his purposes and make a nation out of him. Jacob is the one that was saved and Esau was the one who was damed to hell and at the end, Paul says it’s not man who wills or desires but it’s God who shows mercy that is the deciding factor of a man getting saved.

I'm 16, I've read this entire scenario and I STILL feel bad for Esau. I absolutely do not respect Jacob at all for what he did and the fact that Esau apologized to Jacob infuriated me. Jacob is manipulative and while he gave his his birthright as the firstborn, if we're being honest, he was young and easily manipulated. After I read this, I put down the Bible for a bit and was just very confused on why Jacob received was blessed. I still love God and will pick up the Bible soon, but this entire chapter just left me so mad. Esau did nothing wrong, yet was shown to have the greatest character as he even apologized to his brother after.

Remember, history is recorded accurately in the Bible, the good, the bad, and the ugly truths are there. When people failed to act righteously, like David and Bathsheba, the Bible records that history as a lesson to us all that everyone can make wrong sinful choices. Jacob’s past deceitfulness is not hidden from us, it’s recorded for all to know the truth of how God can turn any of our stories around. God chose Jacob over Esu because Esu never desired the lord, even his descendants after him didn't believe God or seek after him. His brother Jacob and his descendants did seek the Lord. They feared him and and did what was right due to this they were accepted. Jacob sought after God and was more responsible than Esu, Esu was more laid back and lazy wanting earthly things. You know, it’s funny how everybody gets mad at God for choosing Jacob, but every ancient family honored the older brother. Every second child was always “hated” or “not chosen”. All God did was reverse the order and make a point… which we all seem to miss… God chooses and uses those who He decides. The first born son was automatically chosen, and given the blessing, does that mean every parent hated their second child? Does that mean God hated every second born boy? And all daughters? Why aren’t we asking why the first child is always chosen automatically in ancient culture without any regard for how they acted or what they did? Instead of God, coming out being a liberator of the second born (underdog,) child, He’s the bad guy….

If God had chosen Esau to get blessed, then God's purpose of reconciling human to Him would not have occured past forward to Jesus Christ's mission to redeem those who are with faith. Esau was not walking in God's way. Esau would have already wiped out Jacob's descendants or kill Jacob before he could even have produced. Blessing is important because it means God's protection covers the blessed. God sees the future. He knew what was in Esau's mind and what kind of person he would be. God didn't tell Esau to do evil. How was Esau evil?? Jacob & his mother conspired against Esau. Esau was told by his father to go into the wilderness to kill a deer so he could eat savory meat one last time. Esau did as his father asked as the dutiful son. Jacob & his mother both lied to Isaac. Premeditated lies so that Isaac would give the inheritance & birthright to Jacob when Isaac intended to give it to Esau. Much later after Jacob’s time with Laban when Esau wanted to meet his brother Jacob was an absolute coward. Esau could have killed his brother and everyone in his brother’s party. Instead Esau embraced Jacob and hugged him. When Jacob (feeling ashamed) offered Esau some of his wealth Esau said I have enough. I ask you, where is the evil of Esau? Esau was the better man , despite NOT being “God’s chosen”. Esau dutifully worked for his father and was a good son. His only sin in his parents eyes was marrying a woman they disagreed with . Esau had calloused rough hands of a man well aquatinted with hard work. Jacob had the soft hands of a schemer & liar. A true judge of a man is his actions. Esau was the better man. He even followed God’s rules despite his own family’s evil.

Short and sweet and to the point. But really just WHY would God love one and hate the other in the same womb? Now for something totally different. It has to do with the ' seed wars ' , that is, the seed of the woman versus the seed of the serpent. In Genesis 3: 15 God promises there will come a Messiah from the 'seed of the woman ' to make things right and open a way for mankind to still dwell with God. God also mentions that there will be an adversary, the ' seed of the serpent ' to thwart the coming of this Messiah. In Genesis 6 the seed of the serpent is introduced to the world through the Watcher angels falling from their first estate of being heavenly angels capable of going from angelic spiritual state to temporary human - like state in their assistance to men of earth, to taking on the human flesh form permanently in order to have relations with women of earth and produce children. Their seed contaminated the bloodline of every last person on earth except Noah, his wife, and his three sons. Before the flood waters killed all the contaminated people - contaminated with the ' seed of the serpent ' - the sons had to find wives of the contaminated people and find the purest possible to repopulate after the flood. Ham' s wife was obviously most heavy carrier of the ' bad seed ' ( quite possibly on purpose by Ham ) and the evil Canaanites came from Ham. Shem's wife was most pure although not perfect as a tiny, recessive gene came through and surfaced in the person of Esau. Esau was a hairy, red - haired, hairy like an animal, type of person. Esau was just like a red - haired giant Canaanite although he was not a real Canaanite but rather from the Nephilim bloodline from before the flood through the wife of Shem. Canaanites were from Nephilim bloodline from before the flood through the wife of Ham. It is my belief that the small amount of recessive DNA hiding in the lineage of Shem came to the surface in the fashion of one half of a set of fraternal twins. That is to say Rebecca carried both the ' seed of the woman ' and the ' seed of the serpent ' in her womb at the same time. THAT IS WHY when Esau came out first and was slated to be the bearer of the birthright which also involved being the carrier of the lineage to the Messiah that every effort was made to not let that happen. The bloodline to the Messiah had to be pure and if Esau had been in the lineage then the Messiah would not be able to be a Messiah. AND that is why God would ' love ' Jacob and ' hate ' Esau. Jacob was the legitimate bearer of the pure lineage of the ' seed of woman ' from Eve and Esau was the carrier of the evil ' seed of the serpent ' from Genesis 6. Esau then went on to marry Canaanite princess ( doesn't mean she was pretty, might have been as hairy as he was ) Which would mean that the Edomites were mostly a combination of evil blood carried over from before the flood from two different lineages, from two different wives of Noah's family. And that is most likely why they don't really exist today.

@@michaelszczys8316 When you read Revelation 12 and you discover that the dragon or devil has a scarlet or red color ( Revelation 12:3 and 17:3) then you understand why God had to hate Esau who had the same red or scarlet colour ( Genesis 25:25). This is because from the point of conception in the womb of Rebecca, Esau was destined to be a spiritual child of the serpent whose sole aim was to destroy God's chosen people. So of course God needed to hate him because he represents the physical manifestation of Satan here on earth, with his desire to destroy anything that came out of Jacob (Remember Haman son of Hammedatha, the Agagite, the enemy of all the Jews, Esther 9:24) You might also recall what Esau vowed after he was tricked by Jacob. [Genesis 27:41 Esau held a grudge against Jacob because of the blessing his father had given him. He said to himself, “The days of mourning for my father are near; then I will kill my brother Jacob.”] Only a child of the serpent can deliberately plan to kill his own brother. That's what Jesus meant by the expression, [Mark 5:22 But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.] The Bible is the most fascinating of all books ever written.

Although this answer given by the speaker was thought out I believe in good or educational intentions, it is not the answer nor a good interpretation of these verses. A better and more accurate answer of this passage was very plain and simple but a mystery to those not given eyes to see or ears to hear. God loved one and hated the other! Even more so it even explains in a human understanding in Romans: 9 verse 13 It's predestination, election, love & hate. It means that before the foundation of the world God the Father gave God the Son a remnant of people or saints that SHALL be saved, preserved. And the "neither doing any good or evil" part was a way to explain that none of your filthy works will get you to heaven. Also that it was God that did the picking, God that did the dying, and God that did the saving for whom he loved. So the passage means God loved or saved Jacob, and God hated or damned Esau from the foundation of the world with neither of them having done anything good or evil. Yes it does later talk about the different family lineage and God's grace but still the same thing. Why did He love one family lineage and not the other? For the same reason or answer: He loved 1 and hated the other for no other reason than that's what He wanted to do. He's God and whatever He does is good snd right even if You, I, or anyone else thinks that it isn't fair or right.

Wrong!!! God hated Esau because he sold his birthright to Jacob for a bowl of soup!!! God spoke to Abraham and promised that he will be the father of a multitude of nations (Gen 17). Esau and Jacob were 15 years old before Abraham died (Gen 25). Then, God also spoke to Isaac (Abraham’s firstborn) and promised him that through “your seed all nations of the earth will be blessed ( Gen 26).” Isaac wanted to bless Esau- his firstborn- before he dies to confer the blessing as the firstborn and as promised by God (Gen 27) who said to him “through your seed all nations of the earth will be blessed”. But unknown to Isaac, Jacob along with his mother tricked Isaac. Jacob and his mother believed the promise God told Abraham and Isaac but not Esau. The seed that will eventually come was Jesus Christ. Thus Abraham, Isaac, Rebeccah, and Jacob believed but Esau did not. In fact, Esau dishonored Isaac and Rebeccah by marrying two Canaanites displeasing his parents. Thus God hated Esau for rejecting and disbelieveing “the seed” that He promised to Abraham and Isaac through which His Son Jesus would eventually come for a bowl of soup!!!! Yes, Esau would serve the younger as spoken of by God to Rebeccah but that is not why God hated Esau. The servant role of Esau was a statement of his condition after rejecting God’s promise. In fact God cursed Edom - the descendants of Esau- for they have become violent and unwilling to let Isarelites pass through their land in their journey to Canaan and worse fought against them!!!! Everytime hate is mentioned in the Scripture refers solely to wickedness done against God, His nature or against His laws. Thus God hating Esau meant that Esau did something wicked before God. The reference of hating father and mother and self in Luke 14:26 refers to wickedness in man that keeps him from being a disciple of Jesus. Hating a brother in other texts is an evil condition of the heart of the one hating and therefore since God does not have an evil heart, when God hated Esau it was because Esau did evil in God’s eyes by rejecting the promise.

It sounds like Esau's service was rejected by Jacob and his people. Jacob was in fear of Esau because of his own behavior. Esau got over it and was glad to see Jacob. I wonder how Adam felt about the Shining One (snake) after he tilled the soil and created the Garden of Eden, a promised land, a heavenly home, the new heaven and new earth, before settling east of Eden? Perhaps that someone was in need of salvation? He probably knew it was time to settle east of Eden when he took a bite. Inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. (Mat 25:34 NABO) The earth was barren, with no shrub of the field and, as yet, no man to till the soil. Adam tilled the soil and prepared the Garden of Eden, a promised land, a heavenly home, a new heaven and new earth, according to the plan of his Father, and then he settled east of Eden and has tilled and cultivated the earth ever since. I am with you always, until the end of the age. (Mat 28:20 NAB) Light and vegetation are created before the sun and moon because the story is about the new heaven and new earth. Yahweh is the light and Adam, the Christ, is the lamp. Your creation story is when, in the beginning, Adam found you in a wasteland, (Gen 1:2 NABO), empty, and void of understanding, your having become corrupted by sin, and he shielded you as the apple of his eye. (Deu 32:10 NABO) The Son of David rules from David's throne and over his kingdom. Yet, the Son of David is also the root of David. The older, serving the younger. The only begotten Son of David according to the spirit. The Lord God will give him the throne of David his Father (Luk 1:32 NABO) Blessed is the kingdom of our Father David that is to come! (Mar 11:10 NABO) Then comes the end, when he hands over the kingdom to his God and Father (1Co 15:24 NABO) The Son himself will (also) be subjected to the “One” who subjected everything to him, so that God may be all in all. (1Co 15:28 NABO) ---------------------------------------------------------- Adam, the Christ, is a third-party mediator to this world and these heavens between you and your Father. In this version of the story, Jacob is seated at the table and Esau, the first-born serves him. For who is greater: the one seated at table or the one who serves? Is it not the one seated at table? I am among you as the one who serves. (Luk 22:27 NABO) Esau, the firstborn, lives by the sword (sacrifice) and serves his brother, Jacob, who was born gripping (striking at) his heel. Isaac blessed Esau saying: Ah, far from the fertile earth shall be your dwelling; far from the dew of the heavens above! (Gen 27:39 NABO) You will not always have me (Mat 26:11 NABO) I am with you always, until the end of the age. (Mat 28:20 NAB) My kingdom does not belong to this world. (Joh 18:36 NABO) Where I am going you cannot come. (Joh 8:21 NABO) Then I took my staff "Refuge" and snapped it asunder, breaking off the covenant which I had made with all peoples (Noahic covenant) (Zec 11:10 NABO) Then I snapped asunder my other staff, "Heritage" (Deu 32:8) breaking off my brotherhood with (or between?) Judah and Israel. (Zec 11:14 NABO) the one who ascended far above all the heavens themselves (Eph 4:10 NABO) never to return to corruption (Act 13:34 NABO) "By your sword (sacrifice) you shall live, and your brother you shall serve; But when you become restive (weak; faint; infirm; a worm; man of suffering; restless; wanderer in the desert; way of the Lord in the desert), you shall throw off his yoke from your neck." (Gen 27:40 NABO) Save me, I pray, from the hand of my brother Esau! (Gen 32:12 NABO) Esau ran to meet him, embraced him, and flinging himself on his neck, kissed him as he wept. (Gen 33:4 NABO) Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am meek and humble of heart; and you will find rest for yourselves. For my yoke is easy, and my burden light. (Mat 11:29-30 NABO) --------------------------------------------------- Adam was without sin. The sin of Adam is prophetic of the sacrifice, when he wields the fiery sword guarding the way to the Tree of Life on the day of vengeance AS judgment, setting up the abomination of desolation in him, as the Temple without one stone left standing upon another. By his sacrifice, he justifies David when he speaks and, at his resurrection, he vindicates him in his sentence. The hand of (Yahweh/ David) is not too short to save, nor his ear too dull to hear. (Isa 59:1 NABO) David, the Morning Star, is the Light of the world and the Son of David is the Lamp of the Light of the Father. ----------------------------------------------- What is Christianity about? I hear a lot of hate speech. I'm a Bible person. The Bible, and this earthly creation, is about the salvation of those who became corrupted by sin. Corruption by sin appears to be a part of the fabric of the universe. Yahweh is the God of metallurgy. The gates of the nether world (Abyss/ Death) will not prevail against his Everlasting Lake of Fire and Brimstone (sulfur) where you will be smelted and refined, have your dross removed and be purified. There, you will be tormented or, tested for purity by questioning. Tormented: 1) to test (metals) by the touchstone, which is a black siliceous stone used to test the purity of gold or silver by the color of the streak produced on it by rubbing it with either metal 2) to question by applying torture Just as silver, bronze, iron, lead, and tin are gathered into a furnace and smelted in the roaring flames, so I will gather you together in my furious wrath, put you in, and smelt you. God did not hate Esau. God hated the mentality of Esau. He could not see beyond the immediate future in order to receive blessings nor did he value legacy which would have alerted him to the importance of his birthright in relation to his future. Rebecca saw this in him and it made her angry as well, which is why she intervened on behalf of Jacob so that the promises of God through Issac would not be wasted on someone who didn't care or understand the value of it. What God hated was Esau's lack of understanding and wisdom not Esau the man. All Esau's troubled future is a testament to his mentality.

Look up the definition of 'Unreliable Narrator in Literature'. Like it is for many other characters in the Holy Book recorded in words chosen by the "winner" opposing them but now telling the story as the "victor", Esau was never going to be described in any way as worthy of what was ultimately taken from him, regardless of what he was really like. Otherwise the events that happened would come across as nothing more than cruel and unjustified. Again, look up 'Unreliable Narrator in Literature'

The unreliable narrator is whoever wrote that God later hated Esau to make justifiable that whole plan decades earlier. Also, and more concerningly about that story, who is the writer that he (I presume it's a he) can speak so authoritatively on God's behalf, and with such confidence, that God hates one person (or people group) in particular? God wiped out the Edomites (Esau's descendants) because, in their bitterness and anger for what happened, they later refused to help Jacob's descendants during the exodus from Egypt. And it was written by the narrator that God perceived that sentiment the same as hatred. And so He allowed the Edomites to be annihilated. Hello, I think your response brings up an important point for us to consider. You’re saying Esau isn’t being portrayed fairly because of an unreliable narrator. Looking at how Jacob is portrayed, do you think he looks like the good one? Jacob the liar appears to be the undeserving one, doesn’t he? So, is there possibly a deeper question to ponder about our sinful nature and God’s mercy, which none of us deserve? Can anyone understand how he’s chosen his people before creation and yet we also have free will? Instead of reducing this to a literary analysis of “unreliable narrator,” could you ask yourself how the apparent contradictions and injustice of God’s blessing on Jacob descendants and cursing of Esau’s offspring force us to wrestle with God…as Jacob wrestled with him in Genesis 32?

How are caucasians the lineage of Esau? According to a lot of pro-blacks, everybody back then was black until Esau came along. If Esau's parents and twin brother were black, how was he white? Even if he were albino, he still had black DNA, facial features, and kinky hair. And he had 3 to 6 wives. If his wives were black (or at least colored....definitely not white), then how could his offspring be white? And if his offspring went out and had children with blacks or at least colored people, how could Esau's grandchildren be white? As the lineage went further, Esau's offspring got blacker and blacker or more and more colored (if indeed Esau was the first white). When did Esau's lineage all of a sudden started becoming white? King David must have been part of Esau's lineage and white also. 1 Samuel 16:12 and 17:42 says that David was ruddy (which is red) and even says that David had a fair countenance.

The issue tied to those systems of theology is whether salvation is synergistic (man's choice in some way plays a role) or monergistic (salvation is totally God's choice and work). This video was very good on the Jacob versus Esau aspect of the debate. For those who have come to believe Calvinism, I would invite them to read any book that intelligently rejects Calvinism ["Against Calvinism" by Roger Olson; "Why I Am Not a Calvinist" by Walls and Dongell; "The Dark Side of Calvinism" by George Bryson (a real eye opener)].

No Biblical scholar agrees to that not to mention your belief system has been debunked many times Even if that is the case the Bible clearly states God loves everyone and Gentiles can be saved .

@@dude9318 i never said gentiles can't be saved. But God definitely doesn't love everyone. Because everyone doesn't love God. John 3:16 was referring to the 12 tribes of Israel. Not everyone! Learn the percepts buddy!

@dude9318 I get so tired of explaining this to the ignorant of the Bible. But I'll do it again even tho I know I might as well be talking to a wall 🙄. God loves everybody right? Let's see what the Bible says about it. Proverbs 8:17 “I love them that love me; THE IGNORANT: NO GOD LOVES EVERYBODY Romans 9:13 “As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.” THE IGNORANT: NO, GOD LOVES EVERYBODY John 17:9 “I pray for them: I pray NOT for the WORLD, but for them which thou hast given me; 2 esdras 6:56 54And after these, Adam also whom thou madest lord of all thy creatures, of him come wee all, and the people also whom thou hast chosen. 55All this haue I spoken before thee, O Lord, because thou madest the world for our sakes. 56As for the other people which also come of Adam, thou hast said that they are nothing, but be like vnto spittle: Now read all those scriptures/percepts and tell me God loves everybody. He doesn't, because everybody don't love God. Wake up!

Jacob and Esau were both a promise of God to Abraham. In short, Esau rejected his birthright and was also rejected and "hated" because of it. Likewise, when the church turns apostate as spoken by Jesus in Matthew 24 and by Paul in 2 Thes., they also will have despised their born again birthright. They too will be hated and rejected like Esau.

Jacob and Esau are one man the first you and then the second you. The first born was carnal and the second was spirit. This is why Jesus said you must be born again.

God Hates Esau because of his Evil, If Esau used His Incredible Strength for GOOD instead of EVIL, then certainly God would love Esau very much so and possibly Love him more than Jacob who wronged him.

Read! Read! READ! It has nothing to do with Malachi or love! It has to do with “election,” as to “Who” God Wants in His Kingdom, and Why? Romans 9:16--- “It does not, therefore, depend on human desire or effort, but on God’s Mercy. But Mercy for what? Jacob and Esau were not yet born, and had not done good or evil? And after they were born, there was Jesus Christ. So, why God’s Mercy (unmerited pardon) before the children were yet born? This will Scare You!!! For the evil both had done “before” they were yet born from the womb?

Then why not God talk to Isaac to bless Jacob? But instead Jacob had to device an evil plan to deceive his father to get his blessing?

The reason God favored Jacob over Esau, even though Jacob was deceitful to gain Esau's inheritance, is because the inheritance was the covenant God had made with Abraham. Jacob honored the covenant, but Esau did not. Esau was willing to trade the covenant for a bowl of food.

HERES A CLUE THE OPPOSITE OF LOVE IS NOT HATE… HATE IS WOUNDED LOVE ALSO CONSIDER THE WORD HATE NOW WHAT DID JESUS MEAN WHEN HE SAID THIS … ”If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.”-JESUS PRAY AND ASK HIM

2:48, but in the case of Sara God instructed her to wait & trust on him for this favored son. Since she disobeyed, then why did God punish Ismail for her faults? And in the case of Jacob & Esau why then did God use Rebecca & Jacob to "Steal" the birth right instead of just handing it over to Jacob right from the beginning ? That seems a crooked way to teach a moral lesson?

God Loved Esau and Hated Jacob! Proven by the current State of Isn'tRael. The State of Isn'tRael ain't Israelite as the Israelites were sent into Diaspora by God because they are bad! The Edomites are God's Chosen and the land the State of Isn'tRael is the land God promised to Esau. Next proof are the laws of the State of Isn'tRael. They closely resemble the Code of Cana'an law of Vatican curia's council of Cana'an. God also loved the Cana'anites but not as much as the Edomites (Genesis 36:2)
