The law in DEU 24:16 also teaches us that every man shall die for his own sins. This is reiterated in Ezekiel 18:20. jesus does not fit Isaiah 8:20 bc he does not teach, according to the law and the prophets when he claims to have died for the world's sins. The law itself prohibits adding new laws as well as dismissal of any existing law as is plainly stated in DEU 4:2, 12:32.

Even if palestinian traced back to essua, the covenant was confirmed in jacob. Essau was not in the covenant. Thats why after leaving his fathers house, his story became peripheral, only mentioned as the ancestor to some of the isralites tormentors.

I hate to contradict Dr. De Young, but as I was doing more research into the fall of Jerusalem, I discovered General Allenby did not appoint Hussein al-Husseini the first mayor of Jerusalem. He was the current mayor, actually the last Arab mayor under the Ottoman rule. He's the one who wrote a letter of surrender to the British forces. He died of pneumonia a few weeks after this incident. And his nephew, Amin al-Husseini, was not a cute 11-year-old tyke. I don't think this incident even happened, because Amin al-Husseini was born in 1897 and would have been 20 years old at the time. He had already seen military service. He did become the Mufti of Jerusalem, and I am still researching the Bosnian connection of Esau fleeing there after 70AD. Haven't found anything yet. I have watched Dr. De Young for years and learned from from him, but something ain't right here.

@@katherineb9815 All the information I've found so far indicates no one really knows what happened to the Edomites. In Judaism, I think the rabbis say they wound up in Rome and became the Catholic Church and Christians. Other sources think they became Germany. But no one really has solid evidence. That's why I was so happy to find this video. I thought Dr. DeYoung had some info with sources, but I haven't found anything to corroborate it yet. If anyone knows anything with proof, I'd be happy to hear it.

Any religion that recognizes the bible as inspired by God should take note of such scriptures as Amos 9:11-15. Verse 15 makes it very apparent that this is an end time and even post Armageddon prophecy. In all other exiles that Israel and Judah went into they would return and go back into again. But as vs 15 brings out this time they return and become permanently established. Whether verses 11-15 are applied to physical or spiritual Israel and Judah, they still stand as end time post Armageddon prophecies. Now, it's within this context of biblical prophecy the nation of Edom along with some other nations are spoken of as becoming a possession of Israel. This tells us Edom is still around. That it wasn't completely eliminated 2000 years ago as some Christians teach. Does Edom become a possession in the sense of being a subject of the nation of Israel? Or by being put into outright servitude to it? Compare Isaiah 14:1-2. 61:6-7. According to the Bible Edom has been a prime opposer of God's people. Malachi 1:4. Joel 3:6,19-20. We learn from Amos chapter nine that the nation of Edom is still around in the end times and post Armageddon period. So, any zealous bible student might want to know who are these people today? What name or names do they go under right now? And do they still collectively oppose Israel or God's purpose in general?

Hello, God bless you. I decided to check the scriptures given in the video, but also to Google stuff concerning the topic in the video concerning the Amalekites. I did read some articles concerning this topic but ran into something in my search that you probably know already. In Genesis 14:7 the Amalekites are mentioned during the time of Abraham, way before Esau was even born. Now I have read what some think may be going on here, but I have to say it seems like the Amalekites that Israel has had problems with may not be the grandson of Esau, the Amalek of Esau's son. But I'm not sure. Can you help? It's confusing because in Genesis 10 the Amorites which are mentioned in Genesis 14:7 are also mentioned in Genesis 10, but no mention of the Amalekites in Genesis 10. I guess it could be what one person mentioned, saying maybe Moses meant something else when writing this. Thanks

You must remember that MOSES is the author of the Pentateuch and as such, he is referencing in Genesis 14:7 "the field of the Amalekites" to his contemporary readers of the 5 books, giving a reference that they would identify with looking backwards.
