I appreciate this teaching. My daily reading was Lev. 12 and I was looking for some help with it. Thanks. See you on 13 tomorrow morning.

This was stressing me a little, and most of the commentaries pointed back to the original sin. I just wanted to understand because I know that God is good & has no favoritism. Thank you for this explanation. God bless you!

Thank you so much for this wonderful explanation, I’m a woman of God and want to understand how loving God is towards women, I’m so glad he gives us time to rest after childbirth!
@AndrewTatIan Жыл бұрын
it's not about rest we live in a spiritual world what part of child birth is rest it's about original sin we were all born with it so naturally the woman gave birth to a sinful child hence why she's unclean unclean is sin when you commited sins you needed rituals back then if you disobeyed God touched certain things your spirit became unclean not your body HENCE why she had to do ritual giving birth was not the sin but you touched unclean baby :)

This makes sense. If the birth itself were sinful, than that means God commanded Adam and Eve to sin in the garden of Eden (be fruitful and multiply), and Galatians 2:17 says God is not the minister of sin. If birthing were sinful, then so would marriage be, however we know it's not.

Exactly. No punishment. There's a form of death process with shedding of uterine blood. Things that seemed negative for women were provisions made for our protection and covering spiritually and physically ❤.

Absolutely it is true when a woman have a baby she is not allowed to be in a holly place the word teaches us how we have to live thanks for the word many of us do not know, thanks for teaching us Amen

Well... that was a law for Israel. We have now been made clean through Jesus.

God looks on the Heart. The core or center (main part) of us is our Soul. Which is encrypted as DNA code. Woven & like a garment. Our DNA is either stained with Sins as a filthy stinky rotting rag or cleansed of Sins as a white robe of Righteousness. Sorry, my comment is off topic but I felt the need to share. God bless.

Does that mean mary sinned because she made the offering
@TheWholeTruth6 ай бұрын
Nope that is not what that means

@@TheWholeTruth I understand it was the law but If she didn't sin then wouldn't she be excused from making a sin offering because?
@estherboey6838Ай бұрын
Even Mary, the mother of our Lord Jesus, brought two doves to the temple as her sacrifice. Thus, she like all humanity is not sinless.

My thoughts on it were regarding to the curse put upon Eve. Since the curse essentially comes into effect on the day of child birth she is set aside as unclean for that period of time the same reasoning i was using when its said that if she gave birth to a daughter the time was doubled because the daughter would also be having the curse upon herself.

I wonder what if the woman gave birth to a twins (a boy and a girl). In that case, how many days will she be uncleaned? And what happens to the boy who needed to be circumcised on the 8th day?
@Whowells5 Жыл бұрын
Because she had a male child she would be considered clean to bring her male child and then rest for the time given to her for having a female child.
