I call bs on that call/ rule. If the gun never broke then what are we taking about here? Knit, picking.

You made two videos to tell us how you DQ? That’s 18 minutes my life I can’t get back lol.

That's 18 minutes of quality entertainment and some knowledge for your beaner ass 😀

So, it's only applicable if holster breaks the 180 while drawing? If you had run all the way back and drew after turning more forward you should have been good? Or, kept facing more forward while drawing and moving rearward slower? I still think the dude called it wrong for you, even hearing this "rule". I must say, that is one of the rules that makes it less fun and harder to get new people into it. The holster is not going to do anything to anyone. Be concerned about the muzzle! Ridiculous!!

Correct

@Baldcurious Wild. So far, I've only done IDPA matches. All that is local enough to attend. That is the worse part, learning all the odd rules the different groups use 🤣 Looked like the older dude was on your side. That kid seemed like he was power tripping a bit too hard with R.O. responsibilities.

@@ChadKelly7 nah, not really. He felt bad , but considering nobody was really sure about this rule.....lol

@Baldcurious Ahh, that is good. He kinda sounded like "I am sure this is the way and he's out" when they were talking. Maybe he was the only one who read the entire rulebook tho 🤣 Glad you shared this. I still can't believe it, but will be aware now when I get to do a USPSA match!

The rule is 10.5.16. The stage looked like a 180 trap. As a CRO and MD, should of designed this one better. BUT, in the future if you are planning to run up range, either draw first and then good muzzle control OR run first, turn downrange and draw. I draw first, the gun is out and ready, and then I can focus on getting to the position. Sorry to hear about the Dairy Queen.

Yup, my fault for not knowing the rule. But i still feel it wasn't 100% justified, but it is what it is
@bshadrick5 ай бұрын
As an ro myself, that is correct. I tho would likely not have called that. I would have told you about it when you were done.
@joshuabaker57125 ай бұрын
And that's why people show up at major matches and get DQ'd and then argue with the staff. Just enforce the rules as they are in the rule book.
@Baldcurious5 ай бұрын
you need to slow your roll buddy , I didn't argue any calls. especially BS rule like this , you better be 100% sure and you can clearly see yourself from previous video that it was hard to call even when I slowed down the video. Stop hating on everybody
@ThecrazyScotsman5 ай бұрын
clearly he wasn't sure so shouldn't have called anything unless gun broke the 180 which it didn't

Lol, no , guess it's just his pet peeve 😀

Yall are half the reason USPSA sucks these days. Read the rule book, follow the rules. Dont like the rules then dont shoot USPSA. All of you are the ones who will stand there and argue a call you dont even understand.
@Baldcurious5 ай бұрын
Show me in the video where I argued the call ???? I went with it from the first call. The whole squad couldn't agree on the rule. So slow your roll , not everybody is perfect like you.
