Great to have you back, and props for the discussion on work versus lifestyle. Welcome back!! I would absolutely love to take your course, and do think the 1000$US price tag can be justified. However, I do feel like it is unattainable for a lot engineering students who would potentially be the ones getting the most out of the course. The add on system might be a good way to go about it. Perhaps making the basic introductory courses fairly inexpensive (~100-200$US) and the more advanced courses getting increasingly more expensive. That might draw more people in initially and get them hooked for the rest. Knowing your background and potential, it’ll be hard to stop coming back once they’ve got a taste. I know I wouldn’t. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!

The only drawback for me of a high-priced, extremely in-depth course is that it won't lead to any reputable qualification. It would help people who are curious and want to learn but not necessarily people serious about getting into the field professionally... Perhaps have a tiered system, $x low cost, high volume price model for the basics, getting started or seeing if it's for you, $y for the intermediate stuff, enough for amateurs to do some home-brew race car design, $z for a cut-down college or university course, enough to get you through your first day on the job?

I believe you should split the courses rather than build the whole thing for a high price. Start beginner at a set cost(100 or so) and then keep going up and if it makes sense to you, also increase the price. The volume of content should also be in relation to the cost as well I believe. If you go over a massive amount of content in the beginner level I think 200 or even 300 USD would be justifiable easily.

On your course price its worth noting that in the 80's I spent two weeks wages on 3 books to learn basic aerodynamics and design on race cars. Even with an areo engineering background. There was nothing free on you tube and no PhD's designing wing end plates. Something to consider and guide what your course should cost with today's wages. Slide rules and Si calculators cost around the same as most high end computers.

Hi Kyle! I think I'd need to know more topics before being able to give a price. For me it's simply a hobbyist approach but I'd like to find out more for example about why the recommended expansion ratio of 5 exists for the diffuser and if it's to ensure not too much pressure difference and separation - and if so does it make it worthwhile running a higher ride height and a bigger diffuser etc Be great to have some coverage of the latest time attack cars again!

Welcome back. This vid popped up but not the last two, even tho I am an early subscriber! ugh... so I may have missed the opportunity to submit a question or two - They would have been: Does Mercedes make you feel important to the effort, IE do you feel like a world champion? you are, just wondered if a super team does that aspect well. And, has the NDA prevented you from helping other pro teams immediately or in the future? As far as your courses go, If you targeted your average club racer engineer (like me) to get results that were quantifiable without a wind tunnel, and the price point was in line with other things I effort toward club racing, then I would be all in. $5-700 is very reasonable. $1100 would be trading a race weekend off, but still might be a value depending on the quality. Rote review of common concepts I would not be interested in, but actual discussion of principles and applications would be great... I will watch with interest how it all unfolds!! Thanks!

Also recently I had some courses regarding law, just the basics of it mostly I need to read a book 📖 have practice questions online, it does come with exam, when passed it will earn me a certification. All of this costs me 1000 euro. So yeah 1000 is good deal. Some times you can have it payed in 3 terms. Also a good options 👌 there are company's that offer financing. Where the seller does not carry the risk if somebody does not pay.. Worth considering.

I'm a mechanical engineer working my way into fluid dynamics. I would think your course would be priced lower, sort of like the engine building courses from "High Performance Academy" and fabrication from " ETS Motorsport Fab School". Closer to the 100 to 150 dollar price range. Given how your course is more specific about aerodynamics I, personally, would be willing to punch up to 200+ but any more and I just can't afford it. Quad digits sounds insane to me so... Anyways, glad to have you back making videos.
