Another reason God sent Moses & Elijah to Jesus was for encouragement. They were both exemplary servant who completed their earthly missions; Moses with one disobedient act followed by Elijah with complete obedience. Jesus was tormented by the future wrath of man that he faced. He’d already seen what he’d have to go through. As a man, the torture of the future moments to the cross and the crucifixion itself was overwhelmingly tormenting to sweat blood 🩸 and ask The Father to take the cup from him. He needed to be encouraged! Moses & Elijah were sent to encourage him. This also reminded him who he was by unzipping his flesh for the moment to reveal his divinity, not just to himself, but to his witnesses, Peter, James, & John. Another such encourager was Simon the Cyrene who helped Jesus carry his cross. I LOVE YOU CHRIST JESUS. Thank you 🙏🏽 for this video.

The fact Moses and Elijah appeared on Earth alive shows we do not totally sleep when we die, else whence came the two?

Yes, the high mountain top represents a Temple of God. There Jesus, Peter, James and John met Moses and Elijah. What was the purpose of Moses & Elijah being there? Moses had the keys of the gathering of Israel, and Elijah had the keys of bounding/sealing of family together for all eternity. So, Moses and Elijah was handing over sacral keys of the kingdom. In Matt. 16, Peter testifies that Jesus is the Christ and is promised the keys of the kingdom by Jesus Christ, and thus in the next chapter in Matthew, Matt. 17, Jesus takes Peter, James and John up the mountain to receive the keys. In Matt. 17, Jesus is transfigured before Peter, James, and John on Mount Transfiguration to show his divinity. It was here that that the keys of the kingdom was given to the Apostle Peter. In Matt. 16:19 Jesus tells Peter, "18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. 19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." Elijah had the keys to bound/sealing power family members together for all eternity. In Malachi 4:6 God said "6 And [Elijah] shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse."

Here is the actual event. September 32 AD was a season of climax. Every year the Atonmentioned had to be performed on the 10th day of the 7th Jewish month (of the year beginning in March). Only the High Priest could make the atonement, entering into the Holy of Holies. For members of the separated community, who had their own high priests for their own alternate sanctuary, the question of who would officiate was always a question of which party was in power. Since the earthquake (in 31BC), the buildings at Mird had been developed as the communities' highest sanctuary, it's 'holy ground'. According to the Essenes, the earthquake had rendered Qumran unclean. It was at Mird that Simon Magus, as the current Pope, performed the Atonement in 32 AD. The Herodian mission had developed an additional rite. It signified to Diaspora Jews that they also were receiving forgiveness of sins at the same time as Palestinian Jews. Three further ministers acted in a different location, representing the Diaspora. At the moment the Atonement was completed, 3pm, they declared themselves as witnesses, bringing th good news of forgiveness to all members.. From them, the news was understood as spreading to the whole world. In the actual cities of the Diaspora, their counterparts were performing the same rite. The 3 bore the titles ' MOSES', 'ELIJAH' & 'CHRIST' which were names for a triarchy of Peophet, Priest & King. In 32 AD ' Moses' was Theudas, the head of Ephraim, 'Elijah' was a title now borne by Jonathan Annas, & 'Christ' was the David king in his highest role. The function of Jesus on this day was to stand with the other two, on their West, symbolically declaring to western members that their sins were forgiven. Before the earthquake, this Diaspora rite had taken place at Mird, which was then thought of as subordinate to Qumran. But after the earthquake, the roles of the two,places were reversed, & Qumran, now less clean, stood for all lower areas, including the Diaspora. During the day, a Friday, Jesus was present at Qumran, taking part in a reproduction of the ceremony, The room used for it was what had been the vestry, on the western side of the complex. Part of it was covered by a half-roof reached by a flight of stairs. On this raised platform, seen by a congregation sitting below, the 3 men were to appear, Annas in the center. At 3pm the Atonement was completed. The 3 men as subordinates of the high priest were to make their pronouncements. At this point Jesus acted in a way for which he could never be forgiven. Jesus came onto the platform in the vestments of the High Priest, the holiest garments of all. In the words of the gospels, he 'underwent a metamorphosis'. His garments (vestments) 'became dazzling white, such as no fuller on earth could whiten them'. The High Priest's multiple robes were 'whiter than white'. (The fuller was the man who rubbed them with frankincense to whiten the linen). Jesus moved to the center of the platform, displacing Annas & there acted not simply as a priest of a lower rank, but as the High Priest himself, performing the ceremony of completion of Atonement. His actions said that not only could the Christ become the Pope & Pontifex Maximus, but that the place where he stood was the Sanctuary. The Diaspora was as holy as the Holy Land. Neither the Jewish priesthood nor the Jewish homeland were necessary. Jesus even used the words of the Zadokite Baptist, who had said in one of his psalms that his teaching was the water of life, fertilising those baptized by him. 'On the Last Day, the Great Day of the Feast, Jesus stood & cried (preached): "If anyone thirst, let him come to me & drink. He who believes in me, as the writing said, out of his inner parts will flow rivers of living water". Later that evening, Simon Magus himself arrived, acting as a Pope who also visited his outlying territories. Simon appeared in person on the platform, using the Baptist's title the 'Voice', announcing, "This is my Beloved Son, hear him." The words meant that Jesus had again been reduced to the position of king, he had been firmly put back in his p,ace.

The beginning of sin, the mystery of iniquity began in Eden, Genesis 4:8-15-24. Man didn't directly commit sin, but was led by a third party- the devil in the serpent, and was made to sin against God. In God's right, He killed a third party propitiation for their sins- the sinless Lamb. Thus God, to be Righteous and Just, must be the One to provide Himself a sacrificial Lamb, to atone for the sins which the third party- Adam, had committed, to be able to Righteously judge the other third party, the devil, satan, the dragon, to finally get punished. But there has to be opportunity on both sides to prove that God is Righteous and Just in His judgment, by giving man 1000 years to prove he can eventually hold his own and not succumb to peer or outside pressure, in order to be worthy of being redeemed, ransomed, regenerated, restored and reconciled, back to God- through Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 5. Then, man- Cain deliberately killed his brother, Abel, but this sin couldn't readily be judged simply because there was no preceding law about being one's brother's keeper that was to have been broken. (Thus, the whole system was destroyed by the flood, and the laws started with that Genesis 9:5-6, until finally judged and finished on the cross John 19:30) And in verse 15, a precedent was laid down for the time it would take to judge sin, 70x7 or 490 years. That generation was wiped out by the flood, but the precept remained: sin shall be avenged seventy and seven fold. (Matthew 18:21-23). This was the standard by which Israel also judged, as they also had to spend 70 sabbath years ( or 70x7= 490 years), in exile, outside of the promised land. When it was the 69th week year Daniel prayed to God, and fasted to remind Him of the imminent due date of the return of God's people to their promised land; but the sin of the Amorite was not yet full, Genesis 15:16, also, Israel was still in rebellion towards God, and the land cannot sustain rebellion- it was Holy! So, the Messiah had to come and make a way for grace and justification, and righteousness of God to be imputed, so Israel can get back their monarchy, through the house of David, and back to the kingdom of God, by grace through faith in Christ Jesus, as the Son of God, and the Son of man -the promised Son of David, the king of Israel to order His Kingdom Isaiah 9:6; who would ascend His throne as God had promised him. Romans 1:3; Acts 2:30, and come to bring them back to God, Jeremiah 16:16a; Luke 19:10; Matthew 10:5. Instead, they rejected and killed Him. Thus, from then onwards, the way to God was opened to whosoever would come to Him by grace through the shedding of His blood, by grace through faith in His sacrificial death, burial and resurrection. They were given the adoption of sons and daughters into the kingdom, which hitherto, they were not permitted Ephesians 2:13; John 1:11-14, becoming heirs and joint heirs of God and the Abrahamic covenanted promises an blessing (Genesis 25:6- the representatives of his other children by Hagar and Keturah, the Kings of the East, could now access and partake of the blessing, and they showed their allegiance and faith, by worshipping Jesus Christ, as a Child!) Jesus Christ gave His life for all who would simply believe in Him as Lord and Savior, in order to keep them from the wrath of God that will be unleashed upon the Amorite, until the end. Isaiah 63:18; Daniel 8:13; Zechariah 12:3; Luke 21:24; Revelation 11:2. And eventually, they will be rescued at the second coming of Christ Luke 21:13; Zechariah 14. He finished the work of salvation of the soul of man John 19:30 and this continues the "acceptable year of the Lord" which began as He took the sealed book of Daniel, 12:4, from God, as the Lamb of God, who alone is Worthy, and opened the seals Revelation 5, and fulfilled the first of the three part of Isaiah 61:2, in Luke 4:16-21, and He SHUT it again. This will run through this dispensation of preaching of the gospel of grace, (which ended the preaching of the gospel of the kingdom, which ended with the stoning of Stephen) by faith in the sacrificial death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and He will return to gather His saints from the world, 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; 1 Corinthians 15; and present them faultless before the presence of God the Father, with exceeding joy, Jude 24; with victory over sin, devil, death, hell and eternal damnation in the lake of fire and brimstone Isaiah 66:24. The second dispensation is nearly upon us, at this time Isaiah 63:4, which will usher in the tribulation period when the 70th and last year will be ushered in to finish all transgressions! Daniel 9:24. ( As the Messiah has become the sacrifice for sin, and was dead, buried and rose again from the dead! His shed blood sprinkled on the heavenly mercy seat for propitiation for sins for all who would go to God by and through Him, simply by faith! Ephesians 2:8). Then, the Lord will return the second time, complete with His body, as a new Creature resting upon the Mount of Olives Zechariah 14, to make a way of escape for the remnants of Israel Matthew 24:31. Then the battle of armageddon will ensue, and it will end up in total obliteration of this earth. Isaiah 24; Joel chapters 2 and 3, Jeremiah chapters 1-11...; 1 Peter 3 etc. This is the fullness and end, and judgment of the sin of the Amorite! Matthew 18:21-22; Psalm 75:8; 73:3-17. Then the new heaven and earth will be created after the conclusion of the millennium- to mark the expiration date of sin and death, like it was back in Eden. Now man will live out the 1000 year curse of death Isaiah 65, (Genesis 5). Then history will repeat itself when everything reaches full circle- the serpent will be released once again, Revelation 20:1-6, to tempt man as he did with Adam and Eve, those who follow him will get totally judged and cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, together with hell, death, the antichrist, false prophets and all whose portion is with them Isaiah 66:24. Revelation chapters 19-22. God has perfected the end from the beginning. But as it is written-"My people are destroyed for lack of Knowledge " Hosea 4:6, so, "With all thine getting, get understanding " Proverbs 4:7; Luke 24:45. Be filled with and led by the Holy Spirit, and abide in the fold, John 10, until He returns as promised, to take up His purchased possession! John 14:26; Ephesians chapters 1-2! Then He will set up His kingdom! Isaiah 9:6! Be encouraged!

Moses and Jethro (Hobab, Reuel) Exodus 18. Jethro, Moses' father-in law, wasn't dealing with Moses with a true heart. He feigned his love and worship of his God. He knew that Moses had fled from Egypt and came to his land, his home as a fugitive, wanted for murder. As a chief and a pagan priest of his people, he, I believe reluctantly accepted Moses as his son in law, because I also believe, that he wasn't really accepted in the family. When he met his wife, Zipporah, she and her sisters were herding the flock, but now, he was relegated to being the person to keep the flocks, way out in the wilderness, and far away from his wife and children. What could have happened to him? I believe the father in law looked down on him and treated him with disdain, so much so, Moses had a bad relationship with his wife and children. God met with him in the backs of the wilderness, alone and subdued. He used to be a prince, and a man of great authority, but now, this scene couldn't have been so far from who he used to be. This was a great insult to him, and God met with him when he was at his lowest. He couldn't even trust himself to be able to do what God had asked of him. Steven, in Acts 7:22, describes Moses as "learned in all wisdom of the Egyptians and was mighty in words and deeds". But now, in Exodus 4:10, he suddenly told God "I"m not eloquent...and slow of speech, and slow of tongue "? What on earth happened to him all this while, living with Jethro, or Hobab, as he was also referred to? After Moses got the children of Israel out of Egypt, suddenly, his father in law grew a conscience, because Moses now holds a high office- even higher than his! So, he came to him by flatteries, supposedly bringing his wife and children to him, and even his wife cursed him and called him a bloody husband! Exodus 4:25. After that, we never heard anything about her, but later, his sons became the priests of God. Numbers 10. Moses still was afraid of Jethro, in the obsequious way he deals with him, as if he were his superior! Moses then stopped listening to God, and only sought advice from Jethro. God had given him a sign on how to move and hiw to stop and camp: He would give the pillar of cloud by day and the pillar of fire by night, to give coverage, light and direction. But since the arrival of Jethro in the camp, Moses no longer waited for the cloud to move or rest, in fact, he personally invited and implored Jethro or Hobab, to "come with us...and leave us not", and even promised to divide God's goodness with him- without the Express permission of God, and the cloud was still UPON them by day, it hadn't moved, but they did! Numbers 10:29-36. He literally spoke to the pillar to move before it was ready, and to rest only at HIS command, I think simply to impress Hobab! (The same mistake he made at the Rock). In Numbers 11, Moses became overwhelmed by his task, because He had left God out, and God had kept silent as well! So, no wonder his language changed to "I'M not able to...). vs 14 - God had not at any time told him to do it alone! So he began to complain to God as the people began to complain to him. He even got Miriam and Aaron in trouble because of Hobab's presence, who had brainwashed him to make him think he needed his help, just because he had made an offering and sacrificed to God- when God had not told Him to, thereby, making the Most High God equal to all his pagan idols! Exodus 18:1-27. Moses had hearkened to him and instituted a human government over the people of God! And his 70 elders became the bane in Israel's history Ezekiel chapters 8 and 9, even though God had given Moses His permissive will Numbers 11:16--35, 12: 1-16, but sent a grievous judgment on the whole camp. God is God all by Himself! Jethro, who was the descendant of Keturah, the last wife of Abraham Genesis 25: 1-6, clearly had no portion in the inheritance of Isaac and Jacob, and was what Jesus Christ would call "a thief and a robber", John 10, for wanting to enter the fold of the sheep by another way! The legacy he He left has always been the problem with Israel up till this day. That was one of the reasons God had to send His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ, to come and seek and save the lost, to redeem them that have been sold under sin, and give eternal life to all who would believe and receive His sacrificial death burial and resurrection, by grace through faith in His love for us, and that He will soon return to redeem His purchased possession! Even so, come Lord Jesus!

I really believe that Moses and Elijah will be the 2 witnesses. Enoch is a possibility. Elijah never died. Moses died, but Lucifer cpuldnt locate his body. Then there is the fact that Jesus saw him on the mountain.

You’re confused. The whole of Jesus was to expose the hypocrisy of the Moses and Elijah beliefs. Both believed in Ywhw, NOT the Holy Father of Christ. You need to reread the book of Matthew. The Holy Father spoke and Moses and Elijah vanished. They could not stand before, the Holy Creator. How many times, did Yeshua say! No one has seen the Father, No one enters Heaven that has not first come from heaven. Transfiguration was a visual. Exposing the truth, only one was Holy and that was Yeshua. Not Moses or, Elijah that brought about murder and destruction and laws that enslaved the people. With laws of stoning supported by the law of Moses. Christ said! He met with them because they had dropped the ball by not completing their mission, and instead asked God to kill them, and He did. Now, the advent of Jesus was to reconcile the world back to God, and He had to go all the way, but the last event which opened the way was too much to take on- the incident of Mark 14:51-52, the young man set to entrap Jesus in an alleged compromising situation, which would conveniently be witnessed by all the crowds prepared, in order to make the condemnation of death by crucifixion stick, knowing that none of what could be used to accuse Him would come as a surprise to the people, concerning the man who made Himself the Son of God and the Son of David. This much dreaded encounter with the naked young man even made Jesus's sweat to become like drops of blood, nevertheless, He surrendered to the will of God, for this reason, He had come-the Lamb of God to take away the sins of the world by paying the wages of sin of the first Adam, and He as the last Adam, reconciled man back to God. Moses represented the law, and Elijah, the prophet, who couldn't perform this feat, thus, both ministries were overshadowed by the work of the Son of God. They were also present in order to encourage Jesus to go all the way as the last and only Way back to fellowship with God. So, when Peter wanted to include them in the work of salvation, God broke protocol, and spoke to them, confirming Jesus Christ as the only way to salvation, and no one can be added with Him. Moreover, Moses and Elijah were restored into fellowship back with God, as being saved by Jesus Christ as well. They both saw all the promises and prophecies of the Savior fulfilled. Moses got to step on the soil of the promised land at last, and Elijah got to see that he wasn't the only one left to deliver Israel- Jesus Christ, the Son of God had finally come! They all could only meet in glory, and not in flesh, in order to communicate. The reality of this world couldn't let the desciples witness all these, and even then, they could only behold and not personally participate, but for the fact that they were witnesses to the divinity of Jesus Christ, "out of the mouth of two or three witnesses, a matter is established ". We also became witnesses with them, as the Salt of the earth and the Light of the world, until He returns as promised to redeem His purchased possession, take them up to present faultless before God the Father, with exceeding joy, and be able to endure till the end, to receive our crown of Life and Glory! Be encouraged!

He's not talking to Moses or Elijah,,,their dead until today. Everybody ever alive From Adam, Are dead until today. We will be like Jesus. We will get resurrected if we're faithful. First Corinthians, 15 verse. 53,,54. We will receive immortality if or chosen Hebrews 3 verse 1. And the rest have Ages of life John 3 were 16. That's not immortality. The angels don't even have immortality.

I was dead and behold. I Live forever and ever. After he died, he received immortality. Now he could never die ever again.

God gave Daniel the end time vision and revelation, and he couldn't understand what he heard and saw. Thus, the bible was shut in Daniel 12:4 because he couldn't comprehend what the angel that talked with him was saying, especially about a Savior who would be cut off- it didn't make any sense, and about the end of the world. He was only praying for God to remember His people in captivity, who are nearing the completion of their 70 years in captivity. It was then the 69th week year, so God sent the angel to let him know that His people were not ready, and they wouldn't be able to return to the promised land- which will reject them, as they were cast out already because of unbelief and disobedience to the law of the land. In His mercy, God was going to play His ultimate card - send His Son to finish the work and restore His people. But, they have to go through the period of the wrath of God, so to spare at least some, God ushered in the dispensation of Grace- whosoever would believe in Him, through the sacrificial death burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, His Only Begotten Son, and accept Him as Lord and Savior, will be spared. Thus, he was told to go rest till the time of the end when everything would've come to pass already and would then be easier to understand. The book of Revelation is the revealing or clarification of those things that Daniel couldn't understand at that time, especially that of a suffering Messiah, who will later be glorified (Benoni to Benjamin), now made manifest to him and not to the Apostle John as many thought, to whom was revealed the conclusion of the grace dispensation of the church. Daniel was referred to as "greatly beloved" Daniel 9:23, and the Apostle John often referred to himself as "the desciple whom Jesus loved ", other than that, there's no where in the scriptures where there's any reference whatsoever, to connect him to end time revelations. Thus, Daniel must have been referred to as the man greatly beloved, (like Solomon and Benjamin), rather than by his name in the manuscripts, thus, it was attributed to the Apostle John as the person to whom the vision was revealed. Could it also be possible for Daniel to be the one on the Isle of Patmos since there was a reference of him appearing again at the time of the end in Daniel 12? Jesus, as the Lamb of God, took the book that was sealed Revelation 5, and opened it physically in Luke 4:17-21, after His baptism and anointing, now filled with Holy Ghost and power, as the Messiah, to begin His ministry, as it was written of Him Psalm 40:6-8. He quoted the first part of Isaiah 61:2 because that was what He had come to fulfill. Isaiah 63:4, let us know that the second part would begin after the completion of the first part. The day of the Lord's vengeance is now upon the world. The acceptable year of the Lord is fast closing. Let's endure till the end by His grace. In Jesus' name. Luke 4:17-18, Isaiah 61:2, 63:4, 34:8; 35:4, 33:22. Psalm 91. We have no excuses. The bible will be shut again very soon, as the Holy Spirit that was sent to teach, help us understand, interpret to and lead us until the time of the end would have taken all Believers up and out of this world, thus, the bible returning to how it was in Isaiah 28:11-12; Amos 8:11-12. Everything written and revealed is unfolding. They have started to make sense as the day draws near. The whole counsel of God will be fulfilled, and then the end will come. Daniel actually needed the revelation of Jesus Christ to the Apostles John, in Revelation chapters 1-4, and Paul, Daniel 8:13; 2 Corinthians 12:2-10, in order to understand the end-time prophecy God sent the angels to reveal to Him, before continuing from Revelation chapter 5 onwards, till judgment and rewards. Daniel was told not to seal the prophecy at this time, once everything already became clear, and he got the full understanding of past, present, and future events that should begin to unfold from then onwards, which he couldn't understand before, and got the book of prophecy shut until its revelation, hence the name: Revelation. Revelation 22:10. God was ready for the prophecies to begin to unfold. The next is the ushering in of "The Day of Vengeance of our God " after " the acceptable year of the Lord." Luke 4:17-20; Isaiah 61:2; 63:4. We need to be prepared!
