Years ago, another woman wrote: "If we are in a hole, the Way begins in the hole." Not, "Pull yourself out of your hole, then come back to me.." This talk is a bit better than the ones who pointedly ignore the words of Jesus, preferring Revelation. Maybe women understand better. Thomas Hood wrote "The Song of the Shirt" about the plight of piece-workers. He also wrote a very empathetic piece about a suicide. Like Donne, he knew that the woman was not an island, but her death diminished even a stranger like him. A religious book tells of a young actress who had a drinking problem. She went to a young people's chapel, taking her bottle with her. They accepted her just as she was, so healing could begin. Condemnation separates; forgiveness reconciles.

I find it interesting they didn't bring both parties but u think that goes into their intention and the use of the law to oppress women which Jesus ministry repeatedly addresses. They and the crowd had to have seen what he was etiting and he doesn't address the woman untill they are alone, just like he knew the Pharisees intention he knew who the man was and where he was

Actually, this story is a medieval add-on to the gospel of John. It is nowhere to be found in the oldest manuscripts. I think the monk, who invented the story, wanted just to defend Jesus against the suspicion of him being illeterate. Though he probably was.

Jesus was writing the names of the accusers in the dirt . He was fulfilling the prophecy about himself as it was written down in Jeremiah 17:13 "Lord, the hope of Israel, all who abandon you will be put to shame. For me this is more like Jesus performing (Numbers 5:11-31) a test for adultery. A woman suspected of adultery is brought to a priest and the priest will do a procedure involving holy water, dust on the floor of tabernacle WRITING curses in a book and washing them into the holy water with dust (called water if bitterness) and letting the woman drinking it... if bad happens to the woman afterwards the she is guilty. You notice Jesus us beside the temple at that time of accusation, He is the LIVING WATER then WRITING also on the DUST and he is THE HIGH PRIEST of the kingdom of God and He is a merciful God having authority to forgive sins if one will repent. Jesus is perfect even performing the rituals of old testament.

Why are people so against God: Many people continue to diminish the true power of God the Father by rejecting that God created Jesus. Instead, they continue to change the word to mean something different than what it truly means. In Colossians 1:15-18, it clearly states Jesus is the image of God and the *_firstborn OF every creature / creation._* There's no other way to put this. Jesus was and is God's firstBORN creation; he is the firstborn to be given life by God, coming from His foreknowledge. All things were brought forth *from God* and Jesus is the beginning of all things; he has always been with God inside his Father’s infinite and eternal mind. Jesus said he will show us plainly of the Father, but only to those who believe *_he came forth from God_* (John 16:25-27). Yet most will go to hell for rejecting God's power. Yâhusha did not come to condemn. He wrote the word "man" since man was already cursed to let the Pharisees know - the law states both man and woman should be presented for trial. Thus ... he was telling them they were in error to bring only the woman. This would make them passive to His next move to teach people the value of mercy with the words. "Let he who is without sin be the one to cast the first stone." This also teaches us the importance of knowing the scripture so we are wise to the schemes of satan.
