My friend has a phobia of the ocean yet has played two pirate dnd campaigns with me despite it, so playing a game despite having a phobia feels pretty normal to me lol

Nice, but do keep in mind that phobias come on different severity. Some people get uncomfortable at the mention of the deep sea with only words, not even visuals needed. So a game like this could be immobalizing.

Im kind of past that when it comes to my fear of it but sometimes it just comes back and i just die inside when it happens lol. Idk how severe my phobia is to spiders but pixelated animated spiders scares me. And I legit passed out when I first played Minecraft w/o knowing there's spiders in the game. @@undefinederror40404 I’m aware phobias vary on severity. I haven’t met many people who have severe phobias, or had been told of any, so I speak as someone who’s not exposed to it much. All I’m aware of is my friend’s phobia is up to a level of great discomfort. I can’t tell how they’re feeling during our dnd games, but I know that they can’t play games with visuals or are highly uncomfortable. They likely wouldn’t be able to play this game because of that, which is understandable. I hope my comment doesn’t come across as ignorant! That wasn’t my intention.
