@@bigfletch8 As per my understanding, God is in all beings. Carnivore animals have no choise but to hunt other animals for thier survival. Humans are more privilaged and are blessed with higher qualities but it is upto us if we make use of these qualities to evolve spiritually also. Masters do not control our actions. Only when we trust the masters, they will guide us in the right path.

Masters have no mandate to directly remove the karma of other beings (unless those beings are completely surrendered to the Master). What Masters *can* do is to alleviate suffering (in this case, future suffering arising from the karma of killing animals) by increasing awareness. Hence, they lead by example. I was well on my way to vegetarianism. I developed a nickel allergy. All the plant proteins are high in nickel. All plants have nickel in some degrees. I'm now eating eggs, fish and chicken 2 days a week. If anyone has an answer to this I will appreciate hearing it.
