Why is it that the people who want to be in charge and in control of nature have never been closer to nature than their backyard or local zoo? America has a problem of idiots telling professionals what to do and how to do it!

Yellowstone wolves were nothing but a book for the local ecosystem. Some lost livestock is nothing compared to the harm overgrazing an unchecked herbivore population can cause. If you like your land not being flooded due to a lack of vegetation, you also like wolves and other large predators. Some management is necessary, but culling a keystone species like a wolf never results in good conservation outcomes.

When coyote were reintroduced to natural forest and state game lands in and around our farming communities packs grew quickly. THEY HAD NO COMETITION. The first critters to disappear were small game. NOT LONG AFTER that family pets and small livestock. Then the youngest of the larger game. When the larger deer and even elk left thier territory they focased on domestic animals, even ponies and small horses. BTW. Canadian wolves are larger and hardier.

Not really. At what times are the EPA and conservation bulshit get in the way of people putting food on the table. Sorry it doesn't fit within your narrow neoliberal world view.
