You are misleading.. Testing only requires tester upto 8 or max 10 years.. after that it is a dead end.. no companies are interested in senior QAs..no matter you automation... freshers or less exp QA can do the task.. I have seen ppl reducing their exp to survive as QA... There is no role for senior QA's in agile products.. Guys if you can switch to some development.. a fresher developer is more respected than 10+ years QA.. after 10 years either you quit due to frustration or company will throw you out..

Every body will think testing is so easy and dev work is hard It's completely wrong dev will give build to QA and they will relax , testers should test the build continuously, repeatedly ,u will learn nothing technical where devlopers learn other technologies in mean time,. When it comes to packages on exp. After 3-4 exp dev sees good salay hike and jump which is 8-15 lak, in testing after the 1st hike u will see equal sal as Dev but after 2nd hike u ll see huge difference APPRECIATION::: if the build go with 0 bugs dev team see huge appreciation from management ,onsite ever where If QA team find bugs also ,u ll get nothing. Don't don't don't ever think about testing as career if u r a fresher

If you are looking to become a Software Tester or you are already a Software Tester then you have to give some good answer which impresses the interviewer. Once completed the graduation, we will be in a chaos to choose our career path. Some myths in industry related to choosing Software Testing as a career are Anyone can test. Development is better than testing. Salaries will be less compared to Developers in the industry Only the people who can’t code choose Software Testing as a career. There won’t be any growth in Software Testing....... Bla blah blaaah
