I’ve tracked 4 cycles total in my current TTC journey. The first cycle, I ovulated on the day I didn’t test and got pregnant. I was away for the weekend and just fell off with it. Unfortunately we had a MC. I then didn’t get my cycle back for over 2 months but I managed to find my LH peak 2 weeks before AF came back. I found out I have a rapid surge pattern, so I need to test 2-3 times a day in my fertile window. There is also the possibility of having a genuine anovulatory cycle, especially after miscarriage. I tested several times a day in cycle 3 and never got my LH peak. I tested every day and the cycle was over 40 days. My period was late by 10 days, along with a negative pregnancy test. So I just didn’t ovulate that month. I’m currently in my two week wait but managed to find my LH peak this cycle, right on time by Premom’s ovulation prediction. It was another rapid surge and I tested several times daily.

Hey thanks for sharing this bc I thought you should only text once per day. It’s good to know a surge could happen and you could miss it. Last month my surge happened gradually then a peak so it was very easy to follow. This month I haven’t seen any rise yet even though calendar method said it should be today… I guess we will see. Thank you!

Hi I am tracking my ovulation with premom and I’m confused whether I ovulated or not cause I had continuously T/C ratio of 0.12 or 0.26 but I got one time 0.49 and after that same day 0.31 and again later the same day 0.14 does this mean that was my peak? Please help

Most women will surge and peak with T/C ratios of 0.8 or above. These are typically the types of results you want to be looking for to indicate that your LH surge has begun. Baby dust!

We’ve been TTC now for 7 months and got a peak every time on CD18-20 (with Clear blue digital). Also confirmed the peaks with BBT tracking. Last month I tried using the pre mom app with EAH tests instead and again got a peak at CD18. It gradually started rising from CD14. However, I’m now on CD16 and My ratio is still only 0.2 (it was 0.4 this time last month). Is this normal? Do I just keep testing and hoping for a miracle? 😞🤞

Every cycle can be a little different. It is not uncommon for your peak day, ovulation day and surge pattern to vary a bit between cycles. Definitely be sure to keep testing. You may even still ovulate within the same timeframe, but your surge may happen more rapidly this cycle. Baby dust!

Can you get a second peak? I caught a surge (much earlier in my cycle than normal) and premom app counted it as my peak and I did keep testing a few days after (it went back down) but AF hasn't shown up yet-- is it possible I peaked again later in cycle? Going to test tomorrow if AF doesn't show up, I'm 17DPO today and feel like it's on its damn way ha, but just curious for the future. Usually have very regular 28 day cycles and I'm only on CD26. Thanks for these, so helpful!
@premomfertility
@premomfertility Жыл бұрын
Yes, it is possible to have multiple peaks in the cycle. When this happens it usually means that ovulation was not successful after the first surge so another surge will happen later on to help your body ovulate. This pattern will continue until ovulation occurs. If you ovulate later than expected, that will also push back your expected period start date. Baby dust!

I only got an LH reading of 0.8 on a Natural Cycles strip and a 0.71 on an Easy at Home strip. The Test line was not darker or as dark as the Control line However, Premom did NOT count this as a peak. Do you think this was my peak?
@premomfertility
@premomfertility 4 ай бұрын
Hello, please understand that ovulation naturally fluctuates within a cycle. A peak is the last highest/darkest of all your tests, followed by a drop in LH. Keep testing until you identify it. If you believe you've found it, you also have the option to manually edit your test. Good luck to you!

So the app says that today is a high fertility day for me, but none of my ovulation tests have been over .17. So do I assume today is or isn’t a fertile day for me? I will keep testing everyday regardless, but I just want to be sure. I hope that makes sense!

The predictions in the app are a guide but your tests will show you what is really happening. If your LH surge has not started yet, just be sure to keep testing. The predictions in the app will adjust once your peak is found through testing. Baby dust!

I’ve been tracking my LH this cycle and I never got a peak. So I stopped tracking for a day and then started up again. And now I finally had my peak but I’m suppose to start my period tomorrow. I am very confused. Could I have a peak right before my period?
@premomfertility
@premomfertility 2 жыл бұрын
If it's the first peak of your entire cycle, then it sounds like ovulation was just delayed this time around and you will expect your period in about 2 weeks. Your luteal phase length (days between ovulation and period) doesn't change, regardless of when you ovulate. So, if ovulation is delayed, your period will be expected that same number of days later as well.

If you haven't gotten a peak yet and have continually tested, we recommend looking further in to see if you are ovulating each cycle. You can always book a virtual consult in the Premom app with one of our fertility specialists, like Nurse Linda, to dive deeper into your tracking data to plan out what course of action is best for you to take next.

Can you peak overnight and miss it. I had a .66 before going to bed and then .72 in the morning. That’s it
@premomfertility
@premomfertility 10 ай бұрын
Yes, it is possible to have a quick overnight LH surge and miss it when using ovulation predictor kits (OPKs). LH surges can be brief, and the timing of ovulation varies from person to person and cycle to cycle. To increase your chances of detecting the surge, consider testing with OPKs multiple times a day, including in the afternoon and evening. Remember that OPKs are just one tool for predicting ovulation, and it's helpful to use other fertility signs as well, such as changes in cervical mucus and basal body temperature. Yes, it is possible to ovulate without experiencing the egg white cervical mucus (EWCM). While EWCM is a common and helpful indicator of fertility and ovulation for many women, not all individuals may notice this type of cervical mucus during their menstrual cycle.

My LH tests are getting lower and lower after my period. What’s going on?
@premomfertility
@premomfertility Жыл бұрын
A decrease in LH levels after your period is a normal part of the menstrual cycle. LH is one of the key hormones involved in regulating the menstrual cycle and is responsible for triggering ovulation. In a typical menstrual cycle, LH levels start off relatively low during the early follicular phase (the days immediately following your period). As the cycle progresses, LH levels gradually increase, with a surge in LH occurring just before ovulation. This LH surge is what triggers the release of an egg from the ovary. After ovulation, LH levels drop back down to their baseline low levels until the start of the next menstrual cycle. This is a normal hormonal pattern. If you're tracking your LH levels using ovulation predictor kits (OPKs), it's important to remember that a decrease in LH levels after your period is expected. The LH surge, which indicates imminent ovulation, typically occurs in the middle of your menstrual cycle. If you have concerns, it's a good idea to discuss them with a healthcare provider for further assistance. Best regards, Leyla Premom Support Team
