I'm a bit confused, as here and there I hear that it's the first positive ovulation test to take into account. That's when the clock starts ticking. But I also hear the clock starts ticking as soon as LH starts to rise. But the Premom-app mainly cares for the peak. While I also read that as soon as your ovulation test goes back to negative, that's when you've already ovulated. So what is it? This cycle I only peaked about 1 day after my first positive ovulation test. But on peak day I already felt something was going on in the evening. And the next day my tests had gone back to negative, incl. BBT rise.

Can you please advise how toxoplasma gondii affects pregnancy? I have had two failed pregnancies in last year (1 we had to end due to megacystis and 1 was a chemical pregnancy - detected in urine n blood but no sac found during 7 weeks scan). We have run multiple checks to see if there was any chromosomal issues for the 1st baby or even for both of us individually and everything came fine. This year doctor suggested to get test for toxoplasmosis and result was that I have had a past infection. I am currently advised by doctor to take some medication for this after seeing the results. Can u shed some light on this infection and if we still need to be worried about it?

When is it considered “too late” to ovulate? If I have 29 day cycles and I haven’t gotten a positive opk and i’m cycle day 17 is it too late for me to get pregnant

If you ovulated late, which is perfectly fine as long as your luteal phase is at least ten days long to allow for implantation. Consider testing your LH levels two times a day next cycle to ensure you don’t have a rapid rise pattern that you’re perhaps missing. And it’s a great idea to add in BBT to confirm if you are/did ovulate. Good luck!

You can research the Shettles method but there is not much scientific data that supports this.

How high should my ovulation test should be in order for me to get pregnant? My ovulation is be like 1.57 or so but am not still getting pregnant

Hi Shawnette, the actual number can vary for women. Its important you look for your last darkest test line to be considered your true LH peak and always keep testing after your peak to see that your levels have gone down. I would recommend, if you haven't already, start tracking your basal body temperature as this will help you confirm if you are ovulating every cycle and will confirm your ovulation testing is accurate. I have been TTC for about 7/8 months after removing my IUD had it for 10 yrs im in my mid 30s i started ovulation testing probably about the same time of ttc my question is that does it vary in cycles that your highs last for a couple of days after your PEAK? In my last cycles i guess i had a rapid surges where i would find my peak then the next day my ovulation test were very low so that had me confused and possibly the reason why i wasn’t coming out pregnant so for this month as i was testing on cd13 app had me at a high but i bought a clearblue ovulation that day and it gave me just a straight smiley meaning that was my peak🤯 so lucky i had already bd days before and the days after and on “ovulation day”

Yes, you can have a rapid LH pattern and gradual LH pattern from various cycles. You may also not always experience the same levels from cycle to cycle. If you received a LH peak reading of 1.55 one cycle and 1.02 another cycle, that is also normal. I would recommend that check out our new Silver Membership as I think you may highly benefit from a cycle analysis report.
