Ted has fallen in love. It all started when his best friend, Marshall, drops the bombshell that he plans to propose to longtime girlfriend Lily, a kindergarten teacher. Suddenly, Ted realizes that he had better get a move on if he hopes to find true love. Helping him in the quest is Barney, a friend with endless -- often outrageous -- opinions, a penchant for suits and a foolproof way to meet women. When Ted meets Robin, he is sure it's love at first sight, but the affair fizzles into friendship. Voice-over by Bob Saget ("Full House") tells the story through flashbacks.

okay, but to be fair, robin wasnt so innocent in the last one either (or overall). she called ted over knowing that he was still in a relationship under false pretense. and dont give me that "she just wanted him to come over to talk" crap. she knew very well that it was wrong otherwise she would have just sayed she needed someone to talk instead of making up such a dumb excuse.

Ted is a villain quite often. He's almost as bad as Ross in Friends. Have you already forgotten about what he did to Natalie? Twice? I don't want to spoil anything for Cody, but Ted is the villain more than just this episode. It's just that he's usually the villain in a minor character's story and we are conditioned to see him as a protagonist, so it's easy to forgive him.

@@sarangbaag9982 the big reason people have a sour taste is the finale s9 was well received past the point of not having the bar. and i’ve seen the entire show a lot of the moments people say ted is being evil or an asshole is the moments the creators play for laughs it’s embarrassing

FYI about that cat or dog thing in general I love both in the neighborhood I try to make friends with turn off all the fluff balls but there are dogs in my family I don't want over to my house because I have a cat and there seemed to be okay with their dogs terrorizing my cat and the dog next door wants to eat my face most of the dogs in the neighborhood I like but when you come down to it I'm a cat person I always have to have a cat in my house Right now I am literally laying on my bed with my cat at my head cuddled up next to me
