They are severely underselling DIO. The world scales to star platinum, and outscales silver chariot, who both are stated or flat out shown to be faster than light. Most calcs get him to mftl or ftl+ The jjk verse cant handle that kind of speed. And his body itself most at bare minimum to relativistic as we see joseph and caesar react to the red stone's light beam, or with rohan having better reaction speed and relativistic movement speed to enraged josuke.

Yeah, seriously. Immediately was raising eyebrows when they said that Higuruma could beat Dio. Higuruma couldn't hit Dio. Higuruma couldn't even get his domain open in time if Dio wasn't playing around. Higuruma's domain might not even be able to stop him from being injured inside of it during stopped time either. The action has taken place in stopped time, meaning that it technically hasn't happened until time resumes, at which point it has paradoxically already happened. But even if we grant that Higuruma gets his domain up, wins the case, and confiscation removes The World, Dio still has his Vampirism abilities left that would be more than enough to wash Higuruma, even with Executioners blade. Hell, we can grant that Dio lost Vampirism too and he still wins. Dio himself scales to lightspeed since other characters like Joseph and Kars (Pre-ulf mind you) also scaled to lightspeed. Dio just speed blitzes him and insta-kills him because Higuruma wouldn't even be able to react in time to reinforce his body

Gojo said in his fight against Jogo that his infinity doesn't exactly stop the attack but instead it's getting slower the closer it gets. Basically, any attack stops because it runs out force and momentum. DIO's power is stopping time, basically making time cease to exist. Infinity works since there's time involved, DIO won't get slower since time doesn't exist. When the time is stopped, the infinity won't work.

You either didn't study after highschool or have no eye for detail, you see magnetism is created by the movement of charges, so time stop makes everything none magnetic? No, the field stays as well because time was stopped while it was active, not to say the limitless is magnetic but this was confirmed when Dio fell into the trap that jotaro planted a magnet on dio to hide the fact that he actually could move in time stop, we also see an instance of this with Joseph, just because time is stoped it doesn't mean the hammon that he wrapped around his body expecting a punch from DIO goes away, that means infinity stays.

Hamon and limitless are different I how they're affected by time being stopped. 1) just coming into contact with hamon will damage dio. 2) cursed techniques require a continuous flow of cursed energy to stay operational (otherwise cursed techniques wouldn't consume crused energy at all, which they do) this is relevant because time being stopped means gojo can't supply limitless with cursed energy at all, meaning it isn't functional. Since it isn't functional it cannot detect and by extension affect anything. Limitless works by detecting approaching objects and assessing their threat level based on their speed, shape, mass and cursed energy. This matters because using a technique to begin with requires a brain that can actively function(as shown by the fact that that brain damage affects someones ability to use their technique, meaning using a technique to begin with requires a brain that functions properly and shoko says using technique too much fries ur brain), gojos brain doesn't function while time is stopped, therefore his technique doesn't function either.

Counterpoint on dio vs mahito. Dio, being a stand user, inherently has a knowledge of his soul. Enough knowledge to project his soul outwards and control it. Given that stands are soul based powers, almost any stand user should be able to resist Mahito’s powers, dio especially considering his level of control over his stand. For this same reason I think a punch from the world would be able to harm Mahito’s soul

Polnareff could perceive hang man and is faster than him, the issue was not knowing which reflection he was in and handling the mirror world. Dio needs to use a car because that long of a distance is outside of dio's effective range. Wamuu was literally cornered in terms of spacing. Most of the issues ur describing is a discrepancy between attack speed, travel speed, and reaction speed. The line of wildy inconsistent is just how most fiction is, and even jjk has it with the mach 3 naoya statement despite consistant massively hypersonic pacing, or gege refering to the maki catching a bullet as "much" early in the series In jojo, there is alot of lightspeed feats scattered throughout the verse, and generally speaking high relativistic to several times faster than light is most consistant.

If he were faster, he would attack Hanged man when he traveled while being in range of Silver Chariot. Dio needed to use a road roller is quite weird when he thought he was stronger than Jotaro. He just flew until Jotaro couldn't see him and came back with a road roller while Jotaro was in range which we could see from him coming from above Jotaro. Pucci isn't even near light speed in travel speed. He couldn't even travel across the continent in less than like 5 seconds while light can travel around the world in less than second so ppl who said Pucci could travel faster than light at that time have never studied about light. Powerful light speed attacks should not just make someone just fly away but instead should make a hole instantly so it's the reason I don't think Jojo is near "real" light speed and Jojo fans just glaze many characters too much.

Fun Fact: Dio, before turning to a life of crime, was indeed a lawyer. He could very well defend himself from Higuruma and get an innocent verdict. Also even if Higuruma won, confiscation would more than likely take away Dio's knives and not his stand. And if it did take his stand away, he'd have a ranged option with the knives.

the only reason why Sukuna's cursed tool was taken away and not his cursed technique was well, because it was a 'cursed tool'. Hence taking the technique away from the tool and not Sukuna. I doubt it would confiscate the regular knives that Dio has, unless they're cursed knives or something. Though whatever it confiscates, be it his stand or vampiric abilities (would most likely take either of those abilities), Dio is still terrifyingly overwhelming with just either ability either ways.

I know you're probably referencing the dilemma Higuruma and squad had over how the Japanese laws may work differently/not work at all on Sukuna as the law that Higuruma had worked with weren't the same if not implemented at all back then. With that being said, in spite of the vast difference in court laws in the heian era and the modern era of Japan. It's still up for debate though and honestly valid point when thinking back on it, cause Sukuna was prosecuted based on a crime he did as of recent. But it's also plausible that Higuruma would charge Dio based on japanese court rules even if they were committed outside of Japan.

Because Dio’s attacks and force aren’t applied until AFTER time resumes. Limitless is innate meaning it’ll just resume once time starts again meaning it’ll apply infinite space to each attack. It’ll just end up as a nearly endless loop of Dio attempting to harm Gojo in frozen time until the sun comes up, Dio leaves to avoid the sun, Gojo leaving once his energy was low enough to worry, or if they’re stuck in a room with no access sun or way to leave eventually Dio will be able to kill Gojo once he’s out of energy. It’s a bunch of OP ass characters going “no you” until one of their few flaws finally come into play or the author asspulls some even bigger maguffin

Dio could theoreticly bypass infinity by stopping time as Space and Time are 2 connected concepts, my theory is once time is stopped, infinity should stop working 2, cuz you are moving at infinite speed compared to everything else, which means infinity cannot cut your distance in half since you cant divide infinite things, which would mean that Dio would be able to bypass it and therefore emilinate him

there are limits to what Gojo's infinity can handle, like, it only works at an atomic level, it cannot stop characters that are above 3d, time stop, space manipulation maybe can work if used to alter how infinity's space property works, it can be bypassed by things that dont have travel time (like strong cleave) and prolly more, we just gotta get creative

the gojo glazing has to stop. his technique doesn't create infinite space, it creates an "illusion" of infinite space. by slowing down stuff around him in a way that they'd never reach him, he creates the idea that there's infinite space around him. he doesn't create infinite space, he slows down stuff infinitely. 1. Most of the time, only stands can harm other stands, The World is one of those 2. Only other stand users can see stands (except for when they don't), The World is one that can only be seen by other Stand Users, so Sorcerers wouldn't even know what they were fighting 3. Jojo's timestop looks like a blink to people that don't have the ability, if he freezes time, nobody would have even a milisecond of reaction until time unfreezes

Time stop should bypass infinity because infinity can only slow down a object depending on its speed and how dangerous it is which both cannot technically be applied in the realm of stopped time

I could see it being a possibility because gojo explains that infinity basically requires a target in order for something to be affected by infinity. So even if you can say he targets dio before Dio stops time (and that still works) it would be contentious at best to suggest everything Dio could do in stopped time would be a target. Like eye lasers. To be honest I'm not even bothered by what people think about that kind of thing. There is just a huge misunderstanding about gojo being able to move in stopped time that people believe. Makes literally no sense when you think about it for 2 seconds but people just attribute it anyways. Even if they had island level durability the sheer amount of punches thrown at them, not even in time-stop could probably chip away at their durability before they knew they were hit. I think, i wouldnt be too absurd to give them multi block durability as well.

DIO's regeneration and durability is more exagerated than it needs to be. His durability isn't anything special when you consider that in his original, stronger vampire body, not only were bullets were able to easily pierce him but regular sharp objects as well. Not to mention the damage a regular housefire was able to do to him and all the people he needed to feed off of to recover (if you need more proof, his leg, an undamaged and fully functioning part of his body at the time, got cut off by a piece of glass). And remember, his regeneration in this body is even more nerfed as injuries he could have walked off like getting part of his head blown off by Star Platinum completely incapacitated him.

Sukuna will die if his heart stops beating so if his heart is completely obliterated instead of just stabbed or has his brain stem severed I feel like dio wins. Edit: light moves 186,000 miles per second. Even if sukuna does open domain dio can freeze time and run out of there. Also dio is massively faster than light since he scales to star platinum who beat a bloodlusted silver chariot who reflected multiple beams of light.

@@worldsandnightmares almost every crusader scales to silver chariot. Dio almost did kill everyone, the only reason he didn’t kill polneref was because he was occupied with jojo. And jojo very nearly did die but he was able to out-wit him.

I enjoy your videos but as a fan of both series I have some minor criticisms on some of the things, ONLY MINOR ONES, but it does affect a lot of things. I mainly want to focus on two things: one is his fight with Judgeman and the second is his speed. A lot of people have already mentioned DIO was a graduate in law school and became a lawyer himself (which explains why he’s so evil, lol) though I must say he probably isn’t knowledgeable in Japan’s justice system unless he studied in his free time, but that leads to an important point I have to mention was that a big thing with Judgeman was that it potentially couldn’t properly deal with Sukuna because most of his actions would have been outside of the current Japan justice system when he was alive? A lot of his crimes were dealt outside of Japan, not only in Victorian England, but many, many other countries where he gained followers. Now, the potentially mean that he did go to Japan and likely committed som crimes there, but it’s again part of the case with Sukuna and the potential cases that may come up outside of the Japan jurisdiction. The only way they got Dukuna was through a retrial due to Sukuna inhabiting Yuji’s body at the time, but for DIO the only potential case is that if it only takes up cases involving Japan’s current law system, and even then he potentially did no crimes there (there is the Nijumaru incident but I recall that was done outside of Japan, though I could be wrong) Other cases of DIO’s capabilities of why he’s much more powerful than essentially all but one (Takaba is just freaking broken, though Kenjaku did momentarily get him to stop his technique, though again temporarily) is that his speed is down right broken. I’d argue even without Time Stop his speed could potentially bypass infinity because exceeding the speed of light is literally exceeding the perception of the universe itself, and since Infinity works within the universe itself (or at least its processing ability) it may very well bypass it. In other words, aside other stands that can exceed the speed of light, it already is stopping time. The thing is, though, The World goes beyond even that because it even stops stands that are going outside the spectrum of time, so in other words, it is stopping all phenomena including those that go beyond the laws of the universe itself (I’m not glazing, I’m just trying to see this from as much as I can scientifically, and I say that because you can’t exactly go past the speed of light in the first place but stands aren’t exactly something I think you can explain scientifically; it is found affecting reality but the source (the soul) is outside of it). I’m short, his speed and ability is broken as all hell

The thing with the light is UV light canonically is said in part 2 so maybe dio could not die by Anna's Jacob's ladder, unless is actual sunlight or something and similar with the others

19:30 alr I thought about it, and yeah he would not win with brute force in a 1v1, but even with the foresight it wouldn't help. we dont know how foresight would work with timestop but all the ways they could interact would still be a guranteed loss. For both examples lets propose he has 11 seconds of foresight and Dio stops time for 10 seconds: 1. the foresight lets him see Dio move within timestop, but Dio could still just kill him within the timestop whether or not he saw it coming, and even if Dio is toying with him he'd only have like 1 second to react when timestop ends 2. the foresight cannot see what happens during the timestop and either shows him 11 seconds after the timestop has elapsed or those 10 seconds were erased and he only sees 1 second after the timestop, same argument as before, he either dies during or after the timestop but with an even further disadvantage now

Remember: it is stated that the since DIO doesn't have "heart attack" limits like Jotaro, the more he used the World the more the time stop would last. So basically in a very hypotethical future we'd have DIO with 1 minute time stop

gojo's infinite space is not as yall make it to be the effect of it makes things slow down even gege said so but i searched the wiki aswell and here is what it says "This is because the technique takes the finite amount of space between the two subjects and divides it an infinite amount of times" no matter how we see it , time stop will 100% make infinity just not work on dio cuz it needs time to even happen so ye

If the ability is already active, then the space is already divided. DIO would need to stop time and strike Gojo before the barrier was up, or else the space would already be highly warped.

I know this is a for fun video but man y'all are lowballing Dio, who has basically the same stand as Jotaro and that stand itself is FTL. Dio himself can react to a stand attacking and activate The World to block it, even when caught off guard, meaning he has FTL reactions. Judgeman ain't touching him with that sword, even when he has no The World. Hell most of the cast is kinda hopeless against Dio when it comes to actually hitting him since he outspeeds literally everyone in the verse. An annoying thing is they keep bringing up Dio Brando feats when talking DIO, who can't really use them while Jonathan's body is rejecting him. Nor did they really discuss in-depth how Stand mechanics would work in comparison to JJK. Like CAN Sorcerer's see Stands? If they can what makes a Stand? A Positive Curse Energy Technique? Like this is a really lacking discussion and they are making DIO way weaker sounding than he actually is.

I can imagine dio looking for someone with a strong cures technique taking there body for his own so he could steal there cures technique and since he can do this with any dead body thats not too rotten he would be very powerful and would probably building an army of vampire/ ghoul to serve him if he was sent to jujutsu kaisen. Just imagine dio with something like ten shadows or kenjaku cures technique with time stop, honestly dio would be pretty powerful in tons of different franchise for example my hero academia since he can get a quirk and keep his stan the world.

DIO in heaven or The World Over Heaven would be even harder for anyone to fight due to his ability to overwrite reality, plus he has a longer time stop too i think.

If dio stand got confiscated then he would mostly die instantly only because pucci has the ability to steal stands and all the people who got there stand taken away go into a coma and can't wake up unless the stand is returned. But if the stsnd is given to another person then he could possess them like sskuna but he would have no vampire powers. Stands are technically the physical manifestation of the stand user soul.
