Hey Christy, what Dave Ramsey just said (and not because he’s Dave Ramsey, but because what he said) is really impactful to me. I have been struggling with a certain discipline in my life and I paused it at 1:39 and wrote down in a piece of paper 📝 the why’s and also about the momentary pain. The why’s need to be stronger than momentary pain. I’m not going to lie, I am not conservative and many times I don’t like the harsh and tough attitudes that conservatives have (the “just do it” mentality without consideration of anything else), but I have to say, what he is saying is very reasonable and I can respect that greatly. Even though I have a dad, he is not there for me because he can’t. He’s had 2 jobs before I was even born and I’m 26, so I receive advice from what I see as father figures. That is why I follow conservatives, and I learn wisdom that I respect. Thank you Dave Ramsey, and Christy
