God knows because He sees, whether it be a leaf fluttering, grains of sand shifting or the decision-making process unfolding. He considers our knowledge and won't burden us for the deficiencies He knows we have. On a potential Judgement Day, He may say, 'you should have known better based on X, Y or Z' .. All part of the test. Just my take as a panentheist.

The idea can know the future is absurd, you can't say god knows the future because that would require the future to already have existed, this is contradictory to free will and god being god
