That's so TRUE ! Thanks to our Lord we get through the bad things . I've had a child with cancer and through the terrible pain there was this joy that stayed in my heart that couldn't be taken away !!! What a witness of our Lord Jesus Christ you ARE !!! God Bless you and your family !!!

When you mentioned the question why god did this to us . That is a very tough question . I have a faith Church of England and although I am there every week I do the hear he quesiton you mentioned . I have If God was a loving God why do this to us . I have heard the saying God only gives us the trials we can cope with . I have a friend who is a Jehovas witness , Her take on this question is that the devil or satan gives us these troubles to make us doupt are faith in god

God often gives people far more than they can handle, which is why people commit suicide, use drugs, and or become clinically depressed and or abusive. Many people who have bad things occur in their lives don't get through them. Think of how many people fight and pray for their chronic illness to go into remission, only to have their illness worsen, cancer return, or substance abuse relapse, . The idea that God allows bad things to happen because he's challenging people doesn't make sense to me especially when considering trials like child abuse, or a mother with a chronic debilitating disease, where the fallout is traumatic and tragic. It sems like only a cruel and choleric God would chose to teach in such a heartless and tragic manner. I like all the colors in your cow.

Yes to reach for God as you said . If this time of choice was perfect as heaven those who need to seek Him surly would not but this time in flesh bodies is set up perfectly for choice .
