I have no idea why they make random changes from the books either. If a book was popular enough to deserve being 😊made into a movie, isn’t there a good reason for that? It’s s annoying when they completely drop something that that was a big part of its appeal for you, to add an unnecessary chase or sex scene. I think the worst is when they change a character completely and put in a stereotype instead.
