I honestly think women do that for 2 reasons: it's a non-painful way to hurt yourselves & it symbolizes a fresh start. Women are crazy, when they get too emotional, and I think all women know men like their hair. Theoretically, it makes sense, but, as a man, I don't get it. You took a hit, so cutting off your hair just hurts you again. I suppose it could help you take things slow, knowing the typical man will likely pursue women with a fully head of hair, but I'm just a man & it really makes no sense from a manly perspective for a woman to reduce her appeal to men unless she's going to date women. Just my assessment, which may be totally wrong. I'm not a woman, and I gave up on trying to navigate the extremes of the female mental & emotional state. Men have a better chance of learning fluid Tagalog in 30 days than fully comprehending women in 3yrs.😂 God made us equal opposites, so that we fit together as a whole. That means, we have different roles to play in support of each other, and nothing should ever blur that dividing line. We both deserve each others love & respect. Sadly, that's no longer life in America.

I know in Asian culture that long hair is seen as a sign of beauty so 95% of women have long hair... But it's kinda boring IMHO.. Asian girls can and do look real cute and attractive if they have short or medium length (above the chin/below the ear)..ridiculously short hair generally does work on any woman unless they are not trying to look attractive.
