I'm owned by two cats, sisters. Bast has the living room, Shakti has my bedroom. Bast will scent mark EVERYTHING. I've had a box in the post: SCENT! I've been shopping and put the bag down in the hallway: SCENT! I've cleaned something: INSTA-SCENT! Nothing is safe, even a piece of paper! Shakti on the other hand just doesn't bother anymore; she knows my bedroom is really her bedroom I just rent for a few hours, so I don't think she feels the need to scent anything anymore.

I also have a Bast! Bast is one of four. The others are Momotaro, Artemis, and Apollo. 😊

@@ModelsExInferis Yeah, Momo was a foundling and his coat is a buff-colored tabby so he looks peach! It fit the legend too perfectly! I doubt he’ll ever leave home to defeat an island of ogres, but who knows.

A cat will bite for many reasons, not all of which are negative. It can be due to aggression or a problem with their care, but it could equally simply be a way of exploring their environment. Your not alone. My Siamese will rub up against me and give me a love bite. But sometimes I have to watch him. Like if I go to a room with another cat/animal he will get aggressive on the smell and bite hard. It could be they want your attention, or can tell there is a different scent on your body they don’t recognize
