We have our annual Frag Farmers Market happening in March at a UCONN. My wife and I wanted to try another clam. Armed with this information, we will know what to look for. This explains a lot with out experience in the past with clams.

Great information. My deresa clam grew to 10" and died after my brittle starfish got hungry. Unfortunately, I did not even order this starfish - LIveaquaria send him to me by accident and it lived peacefully with the clam for over 6 years. Needless to say I was heartbroken my clam was the star of show. I had 1 maxima that did not live more than 6 months. I think I will consider the hippopus as they cheaper and now I know much hardy
