We don't dislike Americans. Americans that I met (5 years living there) were kind and genuine people. It's the love of the almighty dollar that doesn't give any time off or benefits for health, maternity etc. It's a slave system.

I think "dislike" is too strong. I'd go for "mild irritation". I'm always a bit irritated by American referring to Europe as one country and Europeans as one nation. We vary enormously. A clue - different languages!
