Why Do I make a Sashiko Fabric Mask // Sashiko Story Vol.6

I am a Sashiko artisan. I practice Sashiko with following our Japanese tradition. I made a fabric mask with Sashiko stitching. Here is "why" after learning from some professionals.
Fabric DIY Mask is better than Nothing (Not wearing anything). Please learn & follow the proper cleaning for the fabric mask.
The Fabric Mask is NOT a medical Solution. It will not replace the N95. At the same time, we do not need N95 when we are healthy. I decided to make this video after reading the CDC recommendation below.

I need to work on enjoying the process more myself (also hello from the far off future of 2022). I often get so caught up in the result I want. I'm making an embroidery piece for a friend and I spent hours trying to get the design perfect and stressing a little about how it's going to look. It sometimes takes away the enjoyment. I've been doing more unplanned pieces as well, but I also enjoy planning it and tracing my drawing without having to think too much about where each stitch goes.

Hello from Jan 2022! I think what you wrote here is what all of us have to go through, especially living in developed countries & culture. We are taught that the Result is very important.
