In some snippets of old lore that has since been retconned multiple times lothar was referred to as chieftain of the arathi tribe of humans this was later changed to the last of the arathi tribe to a descendant of the tribe also before his death in the second war lothar did lead the alliance despite not being a king its reasonable to assume he was serving as regent lord of stormwind until varian came of age before his death much like bolvar served as regent lord of stormwind when varian was missing and anduin was still a child while not officially crowned he certainly had the authority of a king so its a technical mistake at best

I am pretty sure Kargath still has his left hand, he just wears a bladed gauntlet that covers it entirely, as you can see it is bulged where his hand would be. Unlike the other blade which is thin.

I know kargaths right hand is replaced with a blade, but his left right? I seem to remember that when you get the drop, you can see inside of the weapon at a certain angle and tell that he is holding it (like you do with most fist weapons)

Grommash was the first Warchief ..? He led the horde in their conquest of Draenor, got stuck I think on Draenor and then eventually made his way to Azeroth after the portal reopened when Ogrim sought reinforcements from their homeward. Blackhand was the warchief once they crossed into Azeroth and set up the forward base in Swamp of Sorrows to attack Stormwind regions

Lothar wasn't their king, he was the king's champion. Their king during that Time was Llane Wrynn, Varian's father. An interesting note for Caza'rez. Despite him cleansing Fel Orcs of their madness and reintroducing them back into the Horde. We never see them ever again in later expansions. It's another lore note that was left hanging by the writers and never picked up upon later in the game. Would have been cool to have a red skinned option for Orcs.
