Let’s assume we are going to invest. If we make a profit, the government will take capital gains tax. If we incur a loss, the government has already taken income tax. And if we spend it, the government will take consumption taxes. Means :- 1. Your profit = govt's profit 2. Your loss = govt's profit 3. Your expenses = govt's profit

Namaskaram Yes, absolutely correct. My hard earned pension money slowly and made it 6 lakhs. I pu it in post office FD for 5 Years. I need to take the money before the maturity On the completion of 2 yrs ,discontinied. They cut Rs 40000/-. Since the money is with them just because I signed it for 5 years during my withdrawal the post office took 40000 from the capital. Then what I got the interest for two years was just nothing. So then I planned if at all I take a plan not more than one year TD. Atleast my capital will not be touched. By the way the politicians don't pay any tax on their pensions I believe. We the citizens don't know many things. Are the politicians not a citizen of this country. Why they should be exempted from the law of income tax. In this matter all the politicians will collectively become one irrespective of their party ,to raise their monthly salary, other benefits after their retirement. Politicians never retire, whether they are on the chair or not. They prefix their names x minister, z minister etc. Is there any one politician now, who will bring the rule that every citizen is equal in front of the law ,so everyone should pay their income tax irrespective of their positions in the country. I will vote who declares this law and implents it.

Point is even amongst ourselves, we are not united. Being raised from different languages and different cultures, our mindsets are different. The only saving grace is our unity against British and seeking independence and even this is starting to disappear as people are starting to get used to it(taking it for granted). If you ask me how other European countries or China cope with this, it's because in the past they are mostly ruled by one empire and their languages are shared during those times. In other countries like Japan, Singapore, Europe, USA atleast we can get 85/- as development. So, I have no problem to pay tax. My problem is where are my Hospitals? Where are my Schools? Where are my Isro projects/drdo worth 100/-?
