I love inside bigs. Like you said all you have to do is have good spacing and have shooters on your team. Spacing is key like you said. Most dudes just wanna sit paint and make it obvious what they’re trying to do. Inside centers always get the blame when you lose too. Like why can’t you just be a true center??? Guards gotta make shots.

I play every position on the game and I recently created an inside big. Inside big are hated because most guards want to play inside-out with more of a drive and kick game because it’s easier not having to time a jumpshot off the dribble. If you play with and inside big your game has to change to a more outside-in game with pick and roll. Sadly, most guards aren’t skilled enough to create good looks at the 3 even with a good screen.

Inside Big hate also has a lot to do with the whole team wanting to cut to the basket all game instead of spotting up. No one in the Rec has any patience or IQ.

Because inside bigs make life difficult for every one this is not real life its a video game I've never seen an inside big set an off ball screen in this game they just sit in the paint and don't guard their opponent if he can shoot Maybe in a squad they will do well but there is no reason to play with an inside big as a random

My inside build could have 10+ pts, 20+ boards 10 of dem ORebs cause teammates cant shoot or pass.. I space the floor w them Sabonis/Jokic middy floaters…still get called out for not being able to shoot. I just had to create a big that can do everything except dribble, no gold diming, no high dunk..still “that don’t matter that don’t matter”

5out is a better offense than 4 out (running pick and roll). In my opinion for example the Boston Celtics and the previous nba final champs nuggets both they bigs can space the floor by being able to shoot but if you don’t have a good team a shaq build could help alot

I guess cause most don’t have I.Q, you always gotta space the floor for ppl, some pg’s don’t like screens they just want you to sit there and wait for the ball and don’t watch the cuts sometimes and most of the time on a shooting center you won’t have many opportunities to take jumpers unless someone forces double team and inside centers can force double teams and someone will always be open to pass to, imma pass 1st center I get 3x2 almost every game

Most dont know how to play with a inside center. I play both inside and a shooting center..on my inside I get more assist then my shooting, but they will still hate.. most make a build (pg,sg) with high shooting, but want to drive..if you have a inside center that can get you extra boards. Shoot. Take that pick, but again lack of iq on alot of these guard builds is high.

Inside bigs don’t get hate, it’s the person using the inside big. Ppl just think that since there on an inside that they can just sit paint and get the ball, and that’s the worst thing you can do as a player is clog the paint because it gives the rest of your team less scoring options.

Inside bigs get a lot of hate because they don’t reflect modern basketball, we’re in an era of drive and kick with large wings and glorified 3s running the 5. Inside bigs kinda kill the spacing and part that makes modern basketball enjoyable, pace. It’s simply not fun to play with or against Even the truest bigs can space, like Joel and Jokic where most of their game is low block mixed with great ball handling and passing in the midrange along with decent to great 3 point shooting.
