It seems that it was recorded before February in 2022, the whole presentation seems to have been questioned or vindicated by the whole madness and escalation of that war. As far as the Nuclear deterrent goes, there are now nuclear weapons of limited capacity or tactical weapons that are able to be deployed with limited fallout even.

13:30, This is a common mistake: You assume that Putin will act rationally, as in some examples of game theory. And, while "past performance is not a guarantee of future performance", it certainly can be a good indicator.
@bobmorane49262 жыл бұрын
Putin did act rationally in looking after Russia's interests. But did the West act rationally by ignoring all the red signals about the unintended consequences of their sanctions ? I guess not. All of them were ignored and they're still waiting for Russia's fall while their world crumbles around them. Inflation, housing market, stock market, food shortage etc...

5:56, I think that eliminating the data which indicate that well established democracies don't fight each other is equivalent to "throwing out the baby with the bath water". Perhaps isolating and simplifying the first principles from these relationships, past and current, might provide the ammunition needed to convince some that peace is the best option.

How are you, yankee friend? I didnt understand your point. But I got to be curious. First principles? Thucydides? Marcus Aurelius? The bible? Evolutionary Psychology (a branch of neo Darwinism), Marxist ideas (war as a disguise for social class struggle), Peter Turchin (social violence of any kind is a seesaw constant) etc etc What is the positive declaration you are positing here upon your "first principles" argument? By the way, who is the author of the video text? Brasil (I am a Brazilian baby boomer, I need text not images)
