Why Do People Hate Patch 10.0.7? Return to The Forbidden Reach. The Weekly Reset WoW News

Doing that Human Heritage almost made me tear up. I happened to do it on the very first WoW toon I made back on Vanilla release week, and at the end of the questline I made it a point to run on foot from Northshire into Stormwind like I did the first time, at night, just like the first time, to see the statues as I passed the gate in awe. It brought me back almost 20 years of gameplay.

I absolutely loved the quest. The only thing that makes me sad is that I feel like anyone who did the original westfall and marshal windsor questline back in vanilla should be able to do it. Anyone who has a Drakefire Amulet in their vault or void storage, or killed Edwin VanCleef I feel, deserves to see the conclusion of this storyline. It feels like they're missing out on a part of a storyline they were an instrumental part in back in the day. Which... if anyone can do it basically makes it not a human heritage storyline anymore. Maybe its an L take, but its such an amazing quest with so many wonderful flags regarding things you did in the past, it feels weird that people who were involved with these questlines can't be there for its conclusion (And make no mistake, this is the conclusion to the Drakefire amulet and Westfall storyline combined, and anyone who made the trip to westfall could have done these quests)

I got a similar reaction to the Orc heritage. Kaltnuk recognizing me in the Valley of Trials and also getting the Cactus apple threats was so nostalgic, and getting a nice farewell from Varok was also so touching

I like how the reach is optional and very relaxed. My favorite part of DF so far has been how I can log in and say "I don't feel like doing x or y" and not feel I'm being punished or falling behind for it.

I laughed so hard when you talked about the tree outside the vaults, and trying to find all the rares. I think this expac has been the most hilarious watching folks (myself included) learning the ways of dragon riding, crashing into walls, mountains, trees, elites trying to rind rares .... I'm having a blast though.

If anyone else is using the new primalist gear to gather the set appearences. You can still upgrade the gear after turning it into a tier piece, giving you both normal and heroic appearence with a single catalyst charge.

My husband and I are both ret pallys and he managed to figure out a good rotation when Dragonflight launched, while I was unable to do anything that felt powerful and also satisfying to play... he was absolutely dreading 10.0.7 because of the talent changes while I was VERY excited about it. I, as expected, am RIDICULOUSLY happy with the changes and adjusting took me like, two encounters (getting used to my class at the DF launch took several days). What I didn't expect was my husband walking up to me midday through his first day playing 10.0.7 and saying "Okay yeah, the ret pally rework is pretty great." lol I still haven't seen any public work orders available, unfortunately. here's why I actually like the work order change, when you are trying to just level up your profession it's nice to be able to make stuff for people who need it instead of making it just to throw it away in a vendor or disenchant it

The best expansion ever at this stage? Even at launch, it had drastically less unique ideas than Legion. DF had poorly revamped professions, revamped talent trees, and better transportation in dragon riding; Legion revamped talent trees (which were a bigger change than SL to DF as the DF trees were just copying over your spellboook essentially), had unique storylines, artifacts, and item models for each spec, a transmog UI collection system, and the game-changing Mythic Plus which has been the most successful game system since raiding itself was added. DF has you in the same hamster wheel WoW has banked on for years. You level a character, do some m+, maybe get aotc...and there's nothing else to do. Grinding world quests to get rep up for a handful of weak rewards isn't enticing. DF is good, but the unreasonable hype is cringe, especially when there's not really been anything groundbreaking added into the game. The game, like it has been for years, has been an ILV hamster wheel that's bound to replace all your efforts in the very next patch.

Well, for the books and sendstones or what they are called, at least, you can interact with the two floating books next to the Drakthyr you turn the stones in and they will be collected there. So no reason to keep them at least. :)

OR we collect the books and they ared save onto a eirloom gear like page wher you can right click on a book and make a phiscal copy to read then delete.

My Orc Warrior is my main, and for me the quest line was way better and I love that they are introducing the clans again. And the armor for me is basically perfection, finally I have a perfected armor set for my Orc. The Human set is also good, but personally I think the max level Warfront set they made in BFA looks better.

Yes the tick's are tiny, but the game puts up a giant confirmation "Warning you are starting an order that doesn't supply all the mats" window. There is absolutely no problem with this system other than not being able to see which ones are partial or fully supplied in the list.

I disagree with the new rings being trash for Shadow Priest. For anyone who doesn't Raid at all, it's BiS for Shadow Priest in both Single Target and AoE. Compared to the 415ilvl BiS M+ ring drops for Shadow Priest, the proper primoridal stones setup for Single Target is 4 to 4.3% DPS increase and for AoE it's a .7 to .8% DPS increase so in the world of min/max for non-raiders it's BiS.

My only real issue with the Zskera vault - beyond the opinion that the onyx annulet is a waste of development time - is that as a completionist, I am not sure when I'm done. I spent a long time after completing everything obvious searching for... well, anything. The fire room / protection effect that Evitel mentioned I completed the same way. Used the barrier to prevent the fire damage. Hours later, wondering if something was hidden, I filled one of the empty vials with water, and threw it on the fire to clear it. Same with a bunch of other similar rooms (Fire on the snow room, for example) hoping to find something small. Mostly because I have an egg that I have been adding together with things over and over, and it was 2 stages away from completion (according to wowhead) and I couldn't find anything. I even used the "Love is in the Air" Leather Love Seat to break my way into the 2 unopenable doors on the bottom floor - Gets your character stuck in a disconnect loop, do not recommend. Good way to preview whats inside the other rooms, though.

For Bear full tankage, I dont use the annulet. However for running around in dps gear, the annulet is a great upgrade from the cobalt assembly dps ring. So I'm happy

the tauren totem pole is only given to you if you have a tauren or hmtauren that can wield two-hand maces, so if you want the totem pole weapon you CAN NOT use a mage, priest, monk, hunter

That only applies to allied races. For the traditional playable races all thats required its that you are level 50 (or 60 icr) and exhalted with your home city :)

I like collecting all the different colors of the tier sets, too, but I wish they made it more simple. First, they should tell you the item level ranges for each color at the catalyst. Well Anduin does eventually need to marry in order to continue the royal line and it is common for medieval nobles, especially royals, to have arranged marriages. Granted, Anduin himself doesn't like that practice, as he rejected Genn's offer to be wed to Tess, and would rather marry for love. Who knows though, maybe he and Cecilia (that's the new girl's name) may cross paths.

I really love the heritage armor mechanics, I did the Dark Iron one the other day and on a whim did another seemingly random quest which lead to weapon appearances. I thought to myself “huh, that’s cool. Can’t use them because they’re hammers and I use a gun, but cool still.” And then I saw there was another quest there and decided to do it since I was already down there, which to my surprise lead to a mount! As an avid mount collector, I had no idea Grimhowl existed. Unfortunately he’s only usable by Dark Iron dwarves, but it’s still a cool secret reward for doing a random quest in a place I rarely go to. Only the Belfs also have a mount attached to their heritage stuff, which is lame because I don’t have much love in my heart for the poncy elf pricks. Give me a special mount for my vulpera, like a big snake or something Also I love the forbidden reach armor grind, as someone who is intimidated by doing mythic dungeons, live raids, and pvp, it’s really nice for there to be a way to gear up that doesn’t require you to know a million mechanics and worry about ruining a run for like 30 other people

I've ended up calling rare farm zones 'just missed' zones 'cause it doesn't seem to matter how fast you are, whether someone shouts out a warning or not, if you see a rare on your map and head off straight away, by the time you get there you've just missed it.

In the Vaults, you don't always get the bubble elevator; one one character I got like a portal creator, similar to the Venthyr hability, that you can put on an upper platform. And on my warrior I simply got a scroll that teleported you to a random door.

That teleporter is awesome. If you get just the right angle you can port all the way to the top if you want to. I have fun finding all the craziest just-barely-able-to-teleport-to locations. The scroll is the biggest pain when you need a specific door to go back to

I mentioned this is the comments of a previous video, but you all can do more with this than I can. It's a tid bit I wouldn't know what to do with. I want to say you two had covered rumors on a missing 6th flight. The theory based on the 6 pillars on their tower, and the purple dragon in a mural with them. In the vaults, there's the "Forgotten Statue". It reads "Harxion: We honor his memory." Whether that's a missing flight leader(which could be the case, because why would Neltharion give a crap about someone beneath him?), or not, it's too specific to not be an Easter egg.

Can't say I was particularly impressed with discovering the public work order change by fortunately not having crafted reagents hoarded on my character when I accidentally picked one up. When I did so on my tailor though, it did at least throw a popup telling me that completing this work order would use some of my stuff. Definitely makes me feel like the flood of public WOs with missing expensive materials is a fishing expedition for crafters who aren't paying close attention. There are often a dozen such orders for the same thing from one person/character.

Has anyone figured out a way to get easy LFR transmog appearances? So far the only way I know is to run +2’s for 376 gear and catalyst those. Doesn’t seem to be any world drop items that are low enough ilvl that you can catalyst; the lowest ones give normal appearance

So, since WoW was a thing, I created a Tauren Warrior. His original name was Dancingbear. One day we character transferred and I lost that name (yeah, I'm still bitter). I named him Mato, which means bear. So, I am a Tauren warrior named Bear, with the tree trunks on my back, swinging a tree trunk at bears in the wild. LIVING THE DREAM!!!!

I've seen a lot of people complain about the 385/395 primal gear and I'm not sure why. It's the most amount of gear for the littlest amount of work. I have a fresh 70 at 385 in less than a day and then less than a second day of farming at 395. I'd much rather AFK rare hunting or spending an hour farming the War Creche than valor farming.

Oh yeah! I completely agree with you on those effin trees! Overgrown branches, invasive bushes, and other, very pretty plants are constantly snagging the edge of my characters. I've had this problem sense Legion!

Uhhh...Tali the other major reason for hotfixes/sever resets was people were getting werid game errors with the patch. From errors in Blizzard app to constant crashes because of something called 'streaming errors'.

You're right! Abyssian as new aspect :D It totally makes sense. Then Wrathion and Sabellian will become respected advisors who have this personal enmity with each other in a playful light hearted way. What I HATE is the boa drop gear being horribly RNG flawed. I can only get plate boots and cloth bracers over and over. Driving me a little mad cuz I just want to get leather piece but... rarest thing to me. The work order situation is bad and blizz put out a comment saying oh well. So many scammers in the mix now with a few hidden genuine people tipping just amazingly but getting lost in the mix. I have yet to try out the addon though, hope it's good.
