another reason was , black and white was in between sinho and xyz , 2 best region. and it performed below expectations. in my opinion, sinho is the best region. dawn was the best pokegirl and paul was the best rival ash got . and their battle was personal to one of his own pokemon. and ofc seeing legendary Pokemons in action in tournament. and lastly sinho has the best set of legendary Pokemon, hands down .

For me, Ash was more irritating than Iris in this season because in the very first episode of this season they showed Ash as a loser and defeated by the new trainer who is sasti copy of Paul, Paul was not a new trainer so losing to Paul was completely understandable but this idiot sasti copy of Paul irritates me, Ash literally defeat Darkrai and Latios in few episodes ago. It was really frustrating as Ash lost all his experience in this season. They showed Ash as complete idiot in this season. Ash can lost battles but cannot be lost to new trainer who is sasti copy of paul.

Its objectively bad series. Ash was totally out of character in this one. He forgot how to catch pokemon, he acted dumb during Elesa battle and he lost thrice to a rookie trainer like Trip. Also Iris was most annoying Pokegirl who constantly kept calling Ash a kid. Also in Unova league Ash lost to a dumbass who thought the Unova league happened in Johto. The rivals were forgettable and not handled well. Team Plasma arc was so rushed as compared to the games.

Trip was a rookie trainer and he defeated ash. And ash acts childish in this series. Unova is the only region where he catches more than 6 Pokemons but all are weak except krockodile. But one positive thing was that team rocket looks pretty cool in this series and their boss also was in some action also.

Alola region had bad artstyle and a good story. Kalos had both good artstyle and story. Unova had good artstyle and bad story. Literally the same pikachu who tied up with a latios and more experienced one lost to level 5 or 6 snivy. And trip is no where the level of paul. Ash pokemon where not even good snivy and tepig might have evolved to their last stage instead of that snivy never evolved and tepig never evolved in to embroar. Krokodile seems to be the most powerful pokemon among ash pokemon including pikachu that season. And iris always maked fun of ash. And in the unova league he lost to cameroon who doesnot know how many badges are required, did not know about the registration required for entering pokemon league and also about six pokemon are used in top battles. And ash pikachu lost to that kind of trainer. Richie was billion times better than him. When i first seen the poster of the pokemon black and white i was exicited because ash had a good artstyle. They tried to create kanto vibes in unova. But thanks to the writers xy was the next season there was a heart break to after kalos in xy ash, s artstyle was changed. In kalos last episode wher ash comes to pallet town and a message on the sky and also after seeing next season ash artstyle. I always thought kalos was where we saw ash the last time
