Seeing the title, I wasnt sure I need to watch this video, primarily because I knew already I wanted to have kids. But being a fan of your work, I still went into watching.. and I must say, it gave me even more clarity for my decision. Again a great piece of work. Thanks a lot.

I don’t know how this happens but you exactly address that particular question I have going on in that week. I was so stressed about my parents putting pressure on my marriage, exactly within 2 days I watched your video of what parents can and cannot expect from their kids and past 2 days I am thinking whether I really want to have kids for my parents or some FOMO in future which I am not even sure of, and I see this video posted. I can’t explain how happy I feel when I find your video on exactly what I am looking for. Thank you for making such wonderful videos closer to real life concerns and issues.

Celebrity people will be having huge money as savings,but what about normal middle class people? We need to take care of our parents as well as in laws their medical costs and home loans, vehicle loans and day life living.

The celebrity part is for people who are super ambitious people thinking career is the most important thing. When it's often not. We should be aware of what people at the top of success ladder actually feel about life to get a realistic picture of success.

@@Shridharlifeschooling but how is it RELEVANT to the common majority which is the middle class people? i get it that you wanted to highlight the qualitatively unique facet of it, but, the ability to be friends which is more significant is easier on those 0.5% super successful SIMPLY coz they have ample resources to hire and delegate helps and employees. they spend QUALITY time and it's not a full-time, FULL-HOUSE responsibility (managing a child 24/7 with a nuclear(doing everything yourself)/joint(gotta handle 8/10 different ppl and their temperaments and needs and emergencies and idiosyncrasies) family). the lives of the rich TRANSLATES to their experiences - which may or may not EXTRAPOLATE to a common man's life. its like being convinced and being sold on a factor - which is most likely a non-factor/ IRRELEVANT in my life.

Please do a video on having one child.women need to go through a lot physically , mentally during and after pregnancy. Going through it the second time needs courage for women. How to prepare for it?

Highly unbalanced video. Brushes the costs faced by women under the carpet after a cursory mention. The costs to women are not just for 10-12 years, there can be life changing physical, social, financial and psychological implications. Moreover, environmental costs were not even discussed. Disappointed with the analysis and verdict.
@Shridharlifeschooling
@Shridharlifeschooling Жыл бұрын
Again, the bigger point is... Despite the costs that you mentioned, in the long run women are glad they had kids. It's a net positive for most.

@@Shridharlifeschooling Life is highly uncertain! And people are highly emotional!!! Anything bad can happen and keeps happening all the time! Accidents, old age, diseases, death, separation, mental trauma, who will take care of that when the subject is another person! You feel more guilty and responsible! Emotional highs are not a criteria of doing something! The environmental hazards!!! The suffering and carbon footprint!! If one is to act emotionally, why would he watch an analysis???

@@Shridharlifeschooling you are using kids to get pleasures for you. So you are using a human being as a toy. A thing from which one can reap benefits. It sounds so cruel.

@@Shridharlifeschooling giving birth without consent is bad. R@p3 is considered bad because it's without consent. R@p3 is different than normal s3x only because it's without consent otherwise in both of the case everything is same. If we consider r@p3 as the crime and something which is bad then why we don't consider giving birth also a crime since it's without consent. Even though we can't practically take consent of child but it's still without consent

I don't agree with you regarding the overpopulation point. Please look at the competition for college admissions. Also the world is changing and with global warming, increasing crimes, what world are you bringing your child in is a very important factor to be considered. In my opinion, you don't need a child to make you feel like you are on the Moon. You can do it yourself or feel so with your partner

If one takes your argument as a fact one could think that the times we live in now are worse than say 100 or 500 years ago. I think you could benefit from gratitude for all the positives the modern times have brought to us. Your views are pretty extreme and you could benefit from watching more of this wise man's videos
