Thanks for sharing.. I have a bully breed and also had pitbulls most of my life. The best companion best protection I have had.. they love hard and that's what people don't like.. they used to be nanny dogs. ❤😊

Any dog will be a "bad dog" if mistreated....and cropping their ears is not only mutilation, but makes them look dangerous.

It depends on why you are cropping. A working dog that guards farm animals will have to confront predators so cropped ears that might otherwise get ripped off or used as a way to hold the dog while other animals attack the dog, it make sense to crop. For looks, that I don’t understand, anymore than making ears perked up, shortening the tail, etc.

This reminds of when my younger brother Patrick and I got a black Labrador retriever pitbull mix named Maggie from the Oregon humane society back on June 22nd 2013 she was 9 years old we had her for 5 wonderful years until August 20th 2018 when she passed away from cancer when she was 14 years old 😢💔

I had heard that it wasn't the purebred pit bulls that were the problem but halfbreeds, because their brain is unusually large and a smaller skull can put pressure on the brain. This was back 20-30years ago. Does anyone know if that's true at all?
