@@WhoovieCOD Yeah I think the bright contrasting colours of the portal artefact thing paired with that title works really well, the only thing I'd mess around with if I was you is how the "explained" text looks - atm I personally think the dark black font gets a bit hard to read on a already darkish orange so maybe try messing around with that. Or alternatively I think it would look sick if you had a "speedrunner" going through the portal in the middle of the current thumbnail, then replace the explained text with "SpeedRunner" and a fat red arrow pointing at them.

I get how the edge glitch works, but why? Why does the game think that when you're above a portal you're in the portal? what?

I'm not sure, but I think if I remember correctly it's because you're still technically "in between" portals. When the game would create a 2nd version of you to teleport you to your 2nd portals position, and you shoot your portal right below you like that on a wall below you, it's probably just close enough to you for the game to think you're inside it. I don't think portal 2 had this issue, so it was probably just a bug from the first game lmao

I'm pretty sure it's because you are close enough that the game renders that you will going into a portal soon, probably added around when test chambers that were about moving fast from high places into portals for momentum was made, because it would be really awkward if the game didnt calculate where you are supposed to be so it would either clip you through the wall or take a frame to process if it didn't exist, don't know why it works on wall portals though.
