Why Do Some Get To See Jesus Before They Die?

My Daddy had become very ill and was in the hospital. Just before he passed away he sat up in the bed, looked forward as if he saw something or someone and he said, "Okay, Okay" We believe the angels appeared to him and was telling him it was time to go be with the Lord in heaven. And then he passed away. It happens very quickly and I agree with you Dr. Betters that we must be paying attention and let our ears remain open. It was reassuring and beautiful to know that he was here with us one second and with The Lord the next second. My sister and I grew up in a Christian family and I can say that our faith meant more to us than any earthly object. Mainly because our Mom and Dad loved each other and loved God. Having that connection with God is as real as I am writing this sentence.

All I can say to the question that is asked in the video is for those that don't get to see Jesus before someone dies you will very very shortly Jesus doesn't play favorites

I believe in God and not much gets me down in life except the fear of death. I believe that the devil knows this cause im constantly reminded about it and then i start to question and doubt God.

@dean bornman Im experiencing the exact same thing as you 😔 i get real bad anxiety about death. I try and brush it away but its always in the back of my mind. I need to repent and speak with God but i dont know how 😞...

If you are reborn and that means accepting Christ as your savior those demons will go away. The Lord has a whole new world out there for you. Please go see a pastor or priest I don't know what your references are. Please talk to someone smarter than me

My husband told me Jesus came to heal him. He did not know I prayed the night before asking for Jesus to come heal him. The following day, he told me that he is going to die today. He did.

ok, Dr. Betters. I watched this video & the one from just a few days ago. I've experienced a lot of loss in the past 18 months. I am a believer and never struggled with death as much as I have right now. It's hard to put into words but I'll try. Their spirit is with God, body in the earth. So we have these memories of really the spirit of the person in the body. When we're gone, none of the memories will matter at all. We won't remember them, correct? We'll be in God's presence. I feel like I"m in dangerous territory wondering why we try to obey our parents, help others, & love deeply only to have it ripped away & feel like none of it mattered because their time here was temporary as is ours. None if it will be remembered or matters in the end. I don't know if that makes sense. I can't tell if the devil is trying to temp me with why bother with life here or if I'm just over thinking. * adding, as I sit here & pray, the main reason I ask became clear. Everything on this earth is temporary including us. I've been learning to keep my focus on God and not to operate out of my emotions here on earth. They sideline me. So I think I had come to the conclusion that we don't matter ( to not focus on myself, my feeling, what's happening in my life) only God does. So I feel like why bother getting close to people. Just be close to God.

Hi Jennifer, we are created for fellowship with others. We are called to love and care for our neighbors as well as our enemies. Our memories do matter. Our relationships and impact on others are important as we are to be shining the light of Jesus into the world around us. People turned on Jesus but He always kept His focus on His Father and His desire to do His Father's will making a way for those of us who accept Him as our savior to experience all the glory of being together for eternity in heaven. Thousands of Christians are dying at any given moment in time. I am trying to understand How Jesus can greet thousands of people individually. Do you think he greets us in groups, or can he be in multiple places at the same time, implying multiple Jesus’. Trying to make a logical conclusion.

To be absent of the body is to be present with the Lord... If you are a Christian when you pass away your soul goes straight to God. Who gave it life. Your shell will turn to dust from which it came.. Hope This helps
